A month later, the democratic people’s Republic of Korea of Korea(North Korea) was formed.</div><div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This was significant to the Korean War because it started the barrier between both these nations and made them very competitive towards each other.</div><div>1950- Large weapons fired from the North of Korea start the beginning of the Korean War.</div><div>1951- China and North Korea recapture Seoul.</div><div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This was significant to the Korean War because it was when the US helped South Korea stop the invasions of North Korea.</div><div>1953- Politicians of the nations involved come together to end the Korean War, but no representation of South Korea signs the official document.</div><div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This was significant to the Korean War because President Syngman Rhee’s refusal to accept failed to unify Korea.</div>]]></description>

The Korean war connects to today's world because many leaders and citizens of South Korea (and other nations that were involved go and honor the people that fought during the Korean War, since if the war never took place, then their lives would have been very different.</div>]]></description>
