I would use all the data companies have from us in order to help those specialised in AI to find a way to protect the country. Also, there will be registers of all citizens so that is a positive aspect of data collection.

Would this not be against human rights of privacy?

Something to consider would be if users have looked at the Ts&Cs of these messaging apps and if this government access would be against this. This could be considered privacy of communications being infringed.

Taking down monopolies to create better management of data, the less monopolies (basically the more individual owners we have) the ebtter the rate of sustainable and creative developement we'll have.

It's basically a prisoner's dilemma between the government having access to everyone's data and having too little access to other people's data.

However, people who WANT to hide from the government have a myriad of ways to do so, and it only requires a small amount of networking/hacking knowledge, like setting up proxy chains to hide your location. So this inevitably ends up harming the general populace.

So yea governments are just making excuses to get everyone's data or allowing other companies to do so, so governments should not take people's data.
