         <description><![CDATA[<div>The semiotic modes can be overwhelming to teach as there are many aspects and technical terms to cover. It would be good to also have a spiral progression so that teachers can focus on key aspects each level in depth instead of touch and go.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Mee Choo - I welcome the change in descriptors of Assessment rubrics for Paper 1 Writing and Paper 2 Summary marking to focus on assigning bands or marks based on what students can do and achieve - what is called positive  marking.  I also like the Planned Response (15 marks) of Paper 4 which will prepare our students better for the 21st Century Competencies - being confident and effective communicators. We could leverage talk moves and metacognition.</title>
