         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the first day of internship. And I was informed before this to arrive at Verandah Lounge at 9:00 am. When I reached there I quickly drop a phone call to Mr Sathi (Director of F&amp;B). Then a few minutes later, a girl with short hair named Siti claimed that she will be my captain for the day. So, she brought me to the punch card place to write my name as my attendance as I still don’t have any card yet. Later on, she brought me to the uniform place and explained that I have to come to the uniform place to take my uniform before I go to the restaurant and return it at the end of my each working day. After that, she showed me the staff cafe where we will take our break here, the toilet, the pastry, the locker and lastly we went up to the restaurant.<br><br>When I reach at the restaurant, she showed me the bar and the cutleries counter. Soon after that, she introduced me to the manager of the restaurant<br> which is Ms Ros. Then, she teached me on how to set up the table, clear the table, wiping the table, wipe the cutleries and wipe the plates. And she told me that the restaurant named Kontiki Restaurant.<br><br>Today I met a lot of people and a lot of tiring as it is the first day working and very coincidently it was Sunday where the restaurant will usually full with people on Saturday and Saturday. That was the staffs over there told me. I hope tomorrow will be much better than today.<br><br>p/s: It was a picture of I’m setting up the table in the uniform XD</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I came at 8:00 am as scheduled. I took my uniform then straightly went to the restaurant. I reached the restaurant and was take by another manager which is an indian guy (I still don’t able to get his name) to the front as a hostees and this will maintained for 1 week. He explained on the Standard Operation Procedure where I need to greet the guests, ask for their room number, and assist them to the sitting place. This is the process where I need to follow as the restaurant is a buffet restaurant. So, taking the guests’ room number is to see if their room package have breakfast buffet included. If the room does not included with breakfast then the guests will be charge RM 33.60 (adult), RM 24 (child), RM 24 (senior citizen), and guest without room at the hotel will be charge RM 48 per pax.<br><br>Later on, he told me to recognize the GM and HOD of the hotel and memorize  what type of drinks they like. Then, he wants me to memorize the price of all kind of buffet. At the evening before going back home, Ms Ros teached on how to answer the phone call, taking order, makes coffee and tea and the arrangement of the table in the restaurant.<br><br>So, today is much more relax than yesterday, somehow, it is still a tiring day. I hope I will get used to it soon.<br><br>p/s: This is one of the duty I do in the restaurant which is wipe the cutleries</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>So, today is the second day of being a hostees at the front where I able to entertain the guests more fluently. And the most important is I able to recognize the GMs and some of the HOD. <br><br>I slowly understand the job scope and how it rotate as Kontiki Restaurant is a buffet restaurant so there will always have “mise-en-place”. So, mostly closing the buffet then I will have to start to do “mise-en-place”. “Mise-en-place” inlcude wipe the cutleries, wipe the plate and bowl, wipe the cup, wipe the goblet, and many more.<br><br>Before I finish my day, Ms Ros teached on the ala carte menus of the restaurant, the way to greet the walk-in guest, the way of showing the menu book and the way of taking their order. She wants me to memorize what kind of ingredient is use on each of the menu.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today as usual I am a hostess welcoming guests to breakfast buffet. And I face a special incident today where the guests want to take back some of the foods to the room. So, I stopped her because guests are not allow to bring any foods back to their room except for the one who are sick that staying at the room then we will pack the foods and send to their room.<br><br>At the afternoon we do not have lunch buffet reservation so I only serve walk-in guests. After the lunch buffet ended I quickly repeat the “mise-en-place”.<br><br>Then, at 3:00 pm, Mr Sathi which is the Director of F&amp;B in Federal Hotel came to meet us. He brought us to a small meeting room then ask to introduce ourselves and talk to us about hospitality industry. Roughly, experience and product knowledge are very important in hospitality industry.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today morning I faced a blur guest which they give the wrong room number to enter the breakfast buffet. And when the actual guest came to give the room number that have been mention, it’s headache because we don’t know who is actually the owner of the room. But finally I ask Mr Muraly (Assistant Manager of Kontiki Restaurant) for help and he settled it.<br><br>So, during the afternoon buffet, we are quite busy as there are a big number of reservation which is 94 pax total. And today I get the chance to brewed cuppuccino for the guest.<br><br>Soon the buffet ended, “mise-en-place”is turn back again. Clearing the table, setting back the table, wipe the plates and bowl, wipe the cutleries and make sure everything is ready then only we are able to go home.<br><br>p/s: This is the picture I’m brewing cuppuccino =)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today during breakfast buffet, there are guests with bad temper but I still maintain my anger with my smile. I found that there is actually a problem if guests from other country could not understand english.<br><br>And in the afternoon, there is 106 pax of lunch buffet. The mistake that I done during the buffet is I accidentally drop the plates that have been clear to the guest. I keep telling her sorry and I bring tissue to wipe her shirt.<br><br>I believe slowly I will able to adapt the situation. Just like when should we start “mise-en-place.<br><br>p/s: This is me while setting up the table :)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today for morning breakfast buffet is 222 pax and for hi-tea buffet is 106 pax. Today is Saturday so lunch buffet is call hi-tea as tiki weekend hi-tea buffet is only available on Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Then dinner buffet is call tiki bbq seafood buffet dinner and it start on 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm which only available on Friday and Saturday.<br><br>We have to act very fast once the breakfast buffet ended because we will have to repeat the process of “mise-en-place”, setting the table, ready the water and make sure everything is ready before the buffet started.<br><br>So, after the hi-tea buffet ended, I clear all the plates, wipe the table and setting the table for dinner buffet. And I went back at 4:37 pm today.<br><br>p/s:  I’m refilling the white sugar and brown sugar after setting the table :)<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the morning buffet, there is a guest taking a picture with me because she said was going back later so tomorrow morning she won’t be eating breakfast here anymore. So, we chated awhile about the hotel and the foods.<br><br>Today is a hectic day during the afternoon until evening because too many table to set up inluding inside and outside of the restaurant. It consider nearly full house. When there is a lot of reservation, it make the place quite narrow and it’s hard for me to clear plates from the guests’ table and filling drinks for them.<br><br>Usually senior citizen are the regular guest of Kontiki Restaurant as well as Federal Hotel. Because Federal Hotel available since the old days. The hotel has been famous among the senior citizen.<br><br>After the buffet ended, I start to clear the table and wipe the table for every table of the restaurant since every table is used for the buffet.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Start today I didn’t become hostess at the front. I was helping at the operation. Morning breakfast buffet today is not crowded like usual. And tiki lunch buffet do not have any reservation too. But, we need to make everything ready before 12:00 pm too for the walk-in guest.<br><br>After lunch hour, I was asked to go to Verandah Lounge. The main product of Verandah Lounge is alcholic drinks. So, I learned to know about a wine called American-Red. The price is RM150.00 per bottle and we sells it per glass too which is rm25.00. I ask the guest if I want to serve them and they said they serve themselves. So, I wait for another guest where the guest ordered 2 Earl Tea.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the same as usual but this is the first time Mr Muraly briefing before starting the job. And there’s always guest talking to me that theywere going back tomorrow. So, I can see it strengthen the relationship between me and the guest. And today I got one order during morning breakfast buffet where a guest ask for single shot expresso. I was confused because I never heard about single shot or double shot. Then, I ask the partime staff there but they were not confirmed too, so I ask Mr Muraly about it. He teached me on how to do it.<br><br>After a few minutes I send the expresso to the guest, he called me again for giving me some tips. This was the second time I got tips from guest. Straight after breakfast buffet, we turn over the process for lunch buffet. Lunch buffet today was only 17 pax not including the walk-in guest. After the lunch buffet ended, the same thing I repeat so that everything in on ready.<br><br>Not long after I done everything, I was asked if I want to stay back for OT but I refused it due to my health condition.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Not much special today. Lunch buffet reserved for 67 pax and a few was walk-in guest. Mr Muraly said we need to always keep on eye on the table that have guest where we must faster clear the empty plate before they stack them all. <br><br>During the buffet, there is a guest suggested me to be an entrepreneur in food and beverage industry after I graduate. He said that this is a good apportunity and we must always remember that we don’t sell what people already sell but we must sell a different one.<br><br>After the buffet ended, I clear all the table and wipe it.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today breakfast buffet over 200 pax. Keep clearing the plate that they have eat to make sure they didn’t stack them up. While lunch buffet is just only walk-in guest. There is a few eating buffet and a few eating ala carte menu.<br><br>Today I learned on how to make hot lemon and hot lemon tea. And today is the first time I make a special coffee which is black coffee mix with expresso. It’s giving a thicker coffee. People who like a thicker coffee can consider this type of coffee.<br><br>I hope coming days will teach me more about serving and knowledge of product.<br><br>p/s: I’m clearing the table after lunch buffet =)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I’m back to work as usual and today is exactly 2 weeks since I’m working at Kontiki Restaurant. Today breakfast buffet cover 218 pax and hi-tea buffet is 192 pax reservations.<br><br>After breakfast buffet, I do turn over for hi-tea buffet. There’s a lot of plates and cutleries need to be wipe. Not forget about setting up the table. But after hi-tea buffet, we have more cutleries and plates to wipe as people come at the same time not like breakfast buffet as people will come in within the breakfast buffet time.<br><br>After hi-tea end, I clear all the table. And wipe the table first before setting up the table. There are a lot of table need to be set up. Too many setting need to be done before going back, So, I stay for OT about 2 hours and half to get everything ready for dinner buffet which is Tiki BBQ Seafood Buffet Dinner.<br><br>Lastly, I finish my work at 6:30 pm just in time for the dinner buffet to start which is 6:30 pm-10:00 pm.<br><br>p/s: I’m setting up the table with trolley at the side because there are too many table to set up so carrying trolley would be easier xD</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is still the same with 200 above pax for breakfast buffet and nearly 200 pax reservations for high-tea.<br><br>At the time when I was setting up the table after high-tea buffet, every staff was called for introducing new restaurant product. The new product are nasi lemak with choice of fried chicken “berempah” where the existing choice is chicken rendang. And the second new product is chicken rice with the choice of fried chicken “berempah” too while the existing choice are stim chicken and roasted chicken.<br><br>The fried chicken “berempah” is only comes with thigh part. So, we should explain to guest if they ask why only thigh part for the both product.<br><br>Mr Sathi and Mr Muraly remind every of is to promote our new product because menu will not have any changes.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today breakfast buffet consist of only 64 pax but deduct 10 pax as these 10 pax have told that they won’t make it to come breakfast so only left 54 pax for this morning.<br><br>And for lunch buffet we received only 5 reservations where they redeem lunch buffet voucher. And we have a few walk-in guest. Some eating ala-carte and some using voucher for lunch buffet too. So, we do not need to prepare goblete on the table.  We were told that if reservation that 10 and above only we set everything ready. If just a few then we will let them sit whenever they like.<br><br>Today not much work need to do as the plate, bowl and cutleries are a few to wipe. So, I went back at 4:30 pm today.<br><br>p/s: I’m wiping the bowl and cup then I put it back at the place where it is beside of the coffee machine :D</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today just like usual day. Breakfast buffet cover 71 pax and lunch buffet reservation is from Yen’s Studio Sdn Bhd which is 38 pax. They reserved for their annual lunch.<br><br>A few days ago I learned how to make hot lemon tea and hot tea. And today I made the drink confidently without getting anyone assist.<br><br>I’ve understand that when we as a staff in a restaurant and we remember what our guest favourite drink, it will pleased them very much.<br><br>p/s: I making the hot lemon tea :)</div>]]></description>

At 3pm, I was asked to go Mandarin Palace restaurant to help. It is a chinese cuisine restaurant. And today they have reservation from City College, Philippines.<br><br>So, they served them with buffet style too. And I was told to clear their plate once they finished to make it as fast as possible.<br><br>After they settled everything, we wipe the glass on the table and change new table cloth then start setting up the table. It is totally different from a western style setting. <br><br>p/s: I’m putting the bb plate for the start up of the setting :)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I picked up a lot of calls for hi-tea reservation, dim sum brunch which is for Mandarin Palace restaurant and room service.<br><br>I learned that we need to be very confident in answering calls so that it won’t make the guest feel blur. So, to be confident I need to learned what is in the menu and what kind of promotion we promote.<br><br>If I understand each of the things then it will make me feel easy to receive call or getting question from the guest.<br><br>Before I went home, Mr Muraly brief all of us.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is a busy day because breakfast buffet covered 401 pax. As breakfast start from 6:30 am so when I start working at 8:00 am, it can consider that all of the table need to be clean.<br><br>After cleaned, I start to wipe and set up for the table so that we have enough time for the hi-tea buffet. So, around 12:00 pm, we have done all of the job. And some of the guests have come to wait for the buffet too.<br><br>When buffet start and they start to eat, there were no plate to clean. We just need to keep on refill for the water.<br><br>So, after hi-tea buffet done, I clear all the table and setting up all the table as well as for dinner buffet. There were only 28 pax reservations for dinner buffet.<br><br>p/s: I am getting the water pitcher ready with ice in it</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today breakfast buffet is the same as yesterday which is a busy day. This is because 4U Malaysia booked for their breakfast about 150 pax. Plate were not be able to cleaned at the same time. We will only able to clean them when they left.<br><br>Hi-tea buffet was about 150 pax. I think this is the last time I experience for hi-tea buffet as the next Saturday I will be in housekeeping department.<br><br>After the hi-tea buffet end, there was a regular customer came for ala-carte. And he asked for black coffee mix with expresso. This type of coffee is quite thick as it mix with expresso.<br><br>p/s: This is the picture I’m doing the coffee ;)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is not busy like weekend which is during hi-tea buffet. Normal weekdays things are just slow because not many guest.<br><br>So, today after breakfast buffet ended, I clear the bar instead of doing set up for the table. This is the first time I clear the bar although almost a month here.<br><br>Things I do during clearing the bar such as wash the fruit juicer, tea spoon, all the glasses, rearrange things and slice lemon for the lunch buffet.<br><br>p/s: I’m clearing the bar :)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the first time I work at noon shift which is from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm. When I reached at Kontiki Restaurant, I do set up and wipe cutleries.<br><br>After all was done, I serve for ala-carte guest which they ordered club sandwich and stim chicken rice.<br><br>And at the night time, I received call for room service. And I served guest that ordered <em>nasi lemak ayam rendang</em> and rore rore heihei with heineken and calsberg respectively. Rore rore heihei is a name for chicken served on hot plate served black pepper sauce served with side salad and french fries. Then, another guest ordered chicken chop with 2 glasses of Australia Wine.<br><br>Before I went back, I fill up the cupboard with goblet that I wipe. Total about 3 deck of goblet I wipe and arrange in the cupboard.<br><br>p/s: This is the goblet that I have to wipe ;)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today when I reached Kontiki Restaurant, I start to serve ala-carte guest, make fresh juice and clear the bar. Everything is just the same where I wipe the cutleries, wipe the plate and add sugar bowl.<br><br>So, at 8pm I was told to go up to Bintang Lounge &amp; Restaurant which is at 18th floor. This is the first time I have been there. And I am tasked to clear the guest plate and filling water for the guest which just like at Kontiki Restaurant.<br><br>The guest was served with buffet type where actually Bintang Lounge &amp; Restaurant was actualy fine dining. But after lunch buffet ended, one of the guest complained that the plant on the table contained larva in it which it will transform into mosquitoe.<br><br>So, at the evening I served ala-carte guest and I made variety of juices for the guest. Then, at the late evening, a group of ala-carte guest came for their dinner. During the time, I was cleaning the plants. So, I reach at housekeeping office at 8:00 am but we should wait until 10:00 am for the briefing session.<br><br>And when it’s 10:00 am, Ms Siti (PA of the Manager) brief everyone including me. So, after briefing done, we were called to zumba together for health purpose and it is only available on Saturday as other day would be busy.<br><br>After that, I was assist by Muhammad to 9th floor for room cleaning. After 9th floor was done, we continued to 8th floor. Muhammad told me that he have been in this department for 10 years already.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today at 9:00 am I arrive at the housekeeping office and I was assist by Kak Fazilah which is one of the supervisor. She is the one arrange everyone duty on the day.<br><br>So, she taught me on how to schedule the maid. The meaning of maid refer to the staff who will clean the room. Each of the staff usually have their own permanent floor.<br><br>After insert everyone own permanent floor then only we place the other people that without having any floor.<br><br>This thing made my cleaning room start at 10:40 am. The main job scope of runner are send things to the maid or the guest based on their request. A runner can do any job such as open the room for maintanence to repair things.<br><br>So, today I brought bath towel, hand towel, face towel, yakuta, adapter, high bowl glass, nescafe and many more to the both guest and maid.<br><br>Overall, I like for being a runner because I don’t like to sit still and wait for something to do.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I came to work at 7:00 am as scheduled. It’s early so I need to sleep extra early to not feel sleepy during working.<br><br>So, when I reached the department, I straight assisted by the supervisor that mentioned in my duty roster which is Ms Rodziah. She taught me on how to divide floor to each maid just like what Ms Fazilah taught previous day.<br><br>But I learned new thing which is I learned from desk clerk (Ms Nadia) to highlight at the paper where green color for room with checked in status (guest room), yellow color for due out and red color for due in (vacant dirty).<br><br>So, at 10:00 am start, I followed Ms Ropenyah as Supervisor Room. Supervisor Room is to check the room if it can be sold. If it’s clean then we have to release it for sold. Room check consist of checking the room clean or not, the tidyness, make sure everything in order and everything is functioning well.<br><br>p/s: This is the OS room (Out of Service) as the ceiling is leaking </div>]]></description>

So, just like yesterday I help to highlight the room number at the paper and passed them to Ms Rodziah.<br><br>Later on, I was arranged by Cik Siti to become a runner because lack of staff. The actual runner (Yunus) need to move in the furniture all at one of the floor.<br><br>Before lunch break, I got instruction from Cik Siti to assist one of the staff to Lot 7 which is one of the office site to spray some pest control.<br><br>Then, after lunch break, I was told to go 6th floor for do some wiping at each of the room. The room at the floor was urgently need to be sell as a big group will check in this evening.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today my schedule is 7:00 am. Just like usual I am tasked to be room supervisor for today. So, I need to help room supervisor of the day to place maid on duty for each floor. Firstly, I have to highlight the room number like usual. Then, only the room supervisor can arrange the maid.<br><br>At 9:00 am, after all maid reached and attandence are taken. I followed Khairul to floor 4M and 8M. Total room he need to clean are 16 rooms only.<br><br>And at 1:00 pm, I need to replace the runner (Yunus) to be a runner until 2:00 pm.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I came at 3:00 pm as followed to my duty roster. And it still stated that to be a room supervisor today. However, I need to follow the room supervisor (Ms Rodziah) to 5N. We need to clean all the room at the 5N. This is because the rooms just done changed new carpet.<br><br>So, Yunus and Shah helped to putting back all the furniture. And I just tasked to vacuum all the rooms. Even it is just vacuum but it’s very tiring and I’m sweating even in the aircond room.<br><br>Then, after break, I do all the wiping, rearrange back the coffee set and toilet amenities, put back the TV, dustbin and lamp, and put out the pillow case.<br><br>Before I went back, Ms Rodziah brought me to the front office to store master key for each floor. After I reached, I straight followed Ms Ropenyah to the 5N to check the room whether the maintenance have done the TV installation on the wall.<br><br>After that, we go to 8M to help one of the maid (Amin) to clean his remaining room. Then, after break, I followed Hani (OT staff) and assist by Ms Ropenyah to the remaining floor that morning shift maid haven’t finish cleaned.<br><br>Once done, we go to 5N to sweep the rubbish on the carpet, vacuumed at the corridor, wipe the door and wipe the wall.<br><br>Before go back, Ms Ropenyah taught to see occupancy and confirmed that every room have been clean and updated.<br><br>p/s: This is the laundry trolley that we pushed here and there to all the floor that left by the morning shift maid</div>]]></description>

I need to pack everything such as blanket, pillow and curtain into plastic and put them in the toilet because there is project of changing carpet at 3N.<br><br>Shah and Khairul in charge on putting the bed into the toilet and carry the divan to put it aside.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today my shift was 7:00 am and I’m in public area for this week. So, today is the first day in public area. Public area is cleaning toilet and cleaning public area such as sweeping, vacuum and wiping the ornament, picture frame on the wall, furniture, glass door and wall.<br><br>And today I did all those things except for cleaning toilet. Before I start my job I have to go linen room to take the wiping cloth where consist of 3 colours. The blue colour is to wipe glass, the red colour is to use in the toilet and the green we use it as multipurpose where we can use it to wipe wooden material, plastic, steel and etc. <br><br>Then, at 11:00 am I’m with En Zakir (Supervisor of Public Area) to clean Tan Sri’s (owner of Federal Hotel) carpet.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I assisted by En Hamizon (Public Area Supervisor) today and he want me to in charge 04 area which back entrance area. He told me to wipe the lions at the door there and vacuum the area.<br><br>Later on, he called me and Sin Yee to wash toilet nearby main entrance. And he taught to use the Auto Scrub Machine to clean the floor and wall on the toilet using different kind of scrub. So, we washed both man and ladies toilet using the machine.<br><br>After break, we are tasked to use the metal polish to polish the glass door handle. This thing should be rub at the metal and let it dry then wipe it off with tissue. We can use the green color cloth to wipe again to make sure it clean.<br><br>p/s: This is the picture I’m using the Auto Scrub Machine</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I was assisted by En Hamizon again. The same thing I did where I vacuum the back entrance area, wipe the glass, and sweep the floor.<br><br>After I done the daily job, I was told by him to clean the glass wall. He taught me to shampoo for the first step, clear the water from the surface as the second step and lastly I have to use newspaper to wipe it if there is still water on it.<br><br>Then, straight after that, Sin Yee and me polish the handle at the back entrance. And after break, we washed the ballroom ladies toilet using the Auto Scrub Machine again.<br><br>p/s: This is the picture I’m cleaning the glass wall</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I followed Joseph (permanent staff) to see the actual flow of a job of being in a public area. He told me that morning and afternoon shift have different job.<br><br>So, I followed him to wipe the glass everywhere using a liquid solution. Then, we checked the toilet frequently to make sure it is clean. And we polish the toilet handle too.<br><br>After break, En Zakir wants me to follow him and Amirrol (permanent staff) to 10th floor to take a plant. It is to exchange the existing plant at one of the toilet.<br><br>Then, I keep followed Amirrol. We checked the toilet and mop the toilet if it is dirty. And today was earth hour event which is from 8:30 pm until 9:30 pm. Miss Nancy called Amirrol and me to cycle the trishaw. <br><br>Before we went home, we collect rubbish from the toilet and the area under his assistance.<br><br>p/s: This is the trishaw for earth hour event :)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I came today straight vacuum the ballroom and suite area. After that, we walk around to ensure the place is clean. Then, En Zakir wants Sin Yee and me to polish the toilet handle near Minnal Pub.<br><br>After break, Sin Yee followed Amirrol and I followed Joseph. Joseph brought me to Mandarin Palace to swept the floor using dust mop.<br><br>Then, we walk around to collect rubbish on the floor and in the vase. Later on, we look over all the plants around the hotel to cut off the dried leaves.<br><br>Before we went home where at 10:00 pm, we collected rubbish at the toilet.<br><br>p/s: I’m polishing the toilet handle</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today after I came, I called Sin Yee to swept the floor at back entrance with me. We swept using the dust mop. Then, we wipe the glass door and table lamp.<br><br>After that, we look over Joseph area as he went for break at 5:00 pm. I mop the toilet as it is quite dirty and wet. We keep walked around to make sure everything is in order and clean.<br><br>After break, we met the supervisor in charge (En Zakir). He brief us about the hotel information such as the floor, the material we use, the surrounding of the hotel and etc.<br><br>He taught us on the Cleanfix Buffing Machine. This machine is to polish the surface of the floor. There are the way to polish the floor using the machine. And the most important is we have to balance the machine when we are using to avoid it from moving around.<br><br>Then, before I went home, I check all the toilet to make sure it is clean.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I am at Linen area. When I reached there, May (extra hand staff) called me to see him do packing. The packing include bed sheet, bath mat, bath towel and hand towel. Once done packing, they will send to each floor for the maid.<br><br>After he done with the packing, he taught me about the coding that they use for the bed sheet all that. For example, BT is stand for bath towel.<br><br>Then, I was taught by Panjang (an extra hand staff too where I still don’t know his real name). He taught me on the quantity that I should put during packing. <br><br>And later on, I go to the floor in charge by him to collect all the dirty linen. Every one hour we will go to each floor to collect.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today when I reached, the packing was done by Amirul (extra hand staff). Then, we wait for 10:00 am for another company which is Laku Company to send the linen. We will have to count the quantity of each linen and write them down.<br><br>After that, Ms Faridah (Linen Supervisor) wants May to brought me to the check out room according to the list that office gave. We have to help to pull out dirty linen from the listed room and bring them down.<br><br>After break, I followed May again to collect dirty linen from the maid.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I on duty at linen area again. But here we only in charge on uniforms and guest laundry. So, at the morning, Aunty Komathy (permanent staff) taught me on what kind of shirt represent which department.<br><br>Later on, she told me that each laundry should have to write down on their respective book. For example, guest laundry will have to written down on guest laundry book and linen laundry is on linen laundry book.<br><br>Then, we checked on the uniforms that have been returned by the staff and wrote them down on a book to pass to the laundry company.<br><br>After break, again, we checked on the uniforms that have been returned from the laundry company to make sure it tally with the one that have been wrote yesterday.<br><br>p/s: The cloth that put at the front is HOD laundry, the center is staffs’ uniforms and the last is staffs’ dirty uniforms</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first thing I did today was I went to the front office with Aunty Komathy to take the laundry sale report. The laundry sale report will write if anyone have send the guest laundry to the guest already.<br><br>Then, we brought the guest laundry back and we checked it. And later on, we checked on the dirty uniform. At 9 something, laundry company sent the HOD laundry. So, I checked on it to make sure it tally with the one we wrote yesterday.<br><br>Then, I checked on the dirty wiping cloth while Aunty Komathy wrote all the staff that have return uniform. Not long after that, housekeeping clerk gave us a call to inform us to take guest laundry at the office. Straight after that, I wrote the guest laundry at the guest laundry book and open a bill. <br><br>Before break, I fold the bath towel and bath mat that have been alter by Aunty Komathy and pass to the front side linen. After break, I replace Yunus (runner) to send things request by the guest.<br><br>Later on, I returned to the linen area and I continued to fold the bath towel and pass it to the front linen. After that, I try to learnt new thing which is sewing the condemned cloth using a sewing machine.<br><br>p/s: It is fun as this is the first time I’m sewing using a sewing machine :D</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I am a runner at housekeeping department. So, I delivered quite a lot of thing today. I started to delivered things at 07:17 am until the time I back which is 2:48 pm.<br><br>I delivered multiple things to multiple people. Things I delivered are bath towel, hand towel, mineral water, tea bag, iron and iron board, sugar and creamer, toilet amenities, laundry bag, sewing kit, memo pad, slipper, soap, plastic small and big, hand towel and blanket.<br><br>There are people that I need to attached with which is the guest and the maid while I sent the item request. And I collected laundry from the guest too.<br><br>Other than that, there are many things that runner have to do such as collect bills, clear iron and iron board at the pantry and office, spray freshener at the corridor, take lost &amp; found and deliver words to maid.<br><br>p/s: This is the worksheet that runner need to write once they get the message and the time done</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I am scheduled to be a desk clerk. And I came at 7:00 am. First thing I am taught to do when I reached the office was hang all the master keys at their place.<br><br>Then, En Mussa (Supervisor) taught me on how to print all the report. After I printed all the report, I slowly highlighted the rooms like I did before during I become a supervisor.<br><br>Then, I type in the details of the assignment that maid will do and the total rooms they will clean. After that, I keep picking up calls either from the operator or front office. Sometimes, maid will call too for inform that there is things valuable in the room and ask for the room status.<br><br>Calls that are from operator or front office were usually tell about the guest room will be need to clean, to make up, and guest request.<br><br>p/s: I am busy picking up calls ;)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today job scope for desk clerk was still the same. Printed out all the report and highlighted the rooms. Picking up calls from variety of people.<br><br>But, at 10:30 am I was asked by Cik Siti to go to 9M (925,926,927,930-showroom) to touch up those rooms. As she said at 2:00 pm, there will be people from Australia will see the showroom.<br><br>I wipe and vacuum those rooms to make sure it had no dust and hairs. And I vacuum the corridor then wipe the corridor walls that have dirty mark. Lastly, I spray some fresh odors. <br><br>After break, I continued to be desk clerk and before break I handle lost &amp; found.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the last day at Housekeeping Department. And last day of being a desk clerk too. I enjoyed the day here very much. I have known things about desk clerk very well too. I can act to what people want and what they request for.<br><br>At 2:30 pm, Cik Siti called me to collect empty mineral water bottle as for one of the College request. The college wants about 500 of mineral water bottle. So, we will need to provide them. Then, I went to each floor to collect with the maid.<br><br>Before going back, again, I went to each floor to find the maid for said goodbye and thanks them for the things they taught.<br><br>p/s: We took a picture before leave with some of the  people from the department :D</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the first day being placed in to kitchen which is Kontiki Kitchen. First thing I learned was how to make omelette. It’s easy for me because I love to cook. The condiment for omelette are tomato, capsicum, button mushroom, onion and cheese.<br><br>I also cut a few tomato, capsicum and onion for tomorrow use. Then, once the breakfast buffet ended, I help to prepared the foods needed for hi-tea buffet.<br><br>Then, after break, I learned to make sushi. There were variety of sushi which is salmon sushi, egg mayo sushi, crab filament sushi, corn sushi, tuna sushi, chicken ham sushi and egg mayo tobiko sushi. Tobiko carries the meaning of fish egg.<br><br>So, I learned how to make it then I in charge of the sushi area.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today after I reached, I straight go to outdoor kitchen which is at outside area. Today I fully in charge the area. I fried sunny side up, make omelette and take half boiled egg for the guest.<br><br>There are weird request from the guest where some request omelette with only egg white and some just want empty filling omelette.<br><br>After break, I take care of the sushi section again.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today Chef Morthy (Sous Chef) told me that we (Me, Lim Sin Yee, Khairul Asyieqie) will rotate with each other. So, for this week I’m in charge with the egg area for breakfast and lunch is sushi area.<br><br>Today breakfast, there were people request for omelette with mushroom and cheese only and there were people doesn’t want to fold up the egg.<br><br>I understand that it’s not easy to handle weird and clingy guest. We have to be patient and talk very nicely with them even though we have frustrated with them.<br><br>So, after break, I get the sushi all ready on the counter yet it finish very fast where I need to do fast too. Once the buffet ended, I clear the foods and I kinda remember a few place that I should keep the foods.<br><br>Then, before go home, I chopped the onion and cheese for tomorrow omelette condiment.          <description><![CDATA[<div>As usual morning I will in charge the egg section. And I will chop the omelette condiment during free time.<br><br>Once the buffet ended, I clear all the things. And set up for lunch buffet. Then, I asked Chef Tan (Head Chef) on the correct cutting for salmon fish. He taught me a lot on it.<br><br>Today wasn’t that busy because there were only 6 pax reservation. So, I chop a few vegetable for night use as there will be an event at skyroom.<br><br>After the lunch buffet ended, I clear then I find myself things to do.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the first day met with Chef Leiza (Sous Chef). She explained me on the food covering with napkin and the purpose of the covering. Then, she said yogurt should be smooth to serve.<br><br>After that, I continued to take care the egg session. Like usual, I do upon guest request and clear after the buffet end then set up for lunch buffet. But, today I learned new things about sushi which is rolling up the rice and fruit with spring roll. So, I made plenty of fruit sushi for today lunch.<br><br>At the evening after lunch buffet end, Chef Leiza call upon everyone for a briefing session. Then, after the briefing done, Chef Fais (CDP-Chef de Partie) taught me on how to do plating. <br><br>p/s: This is the fruit sushi I made today</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today once I reached, Chef Leiza called me to slice cilantro. Then, she taught me on how to make pancake. The pancake have the mixture of flour, egg and full cream milk. Once the pancake done, I refill it at the pancake area.<br><br>Then, after that, I take care egg session and there are too many special request from the guest that I have to do based on their like. In the meanwhile, I made roti canai and cut it to half. Then, before breakfast buffet end, Chef Leiza wants me to peel off the hard boiled egg shell.<br><br>After done clear buffet and setting for lunch buffet, I went for break. After break, I went to sushi area to in charge for sushi. In the meantime, I cut for fruits and refill foods at their respectively place.<br><br>Before go home, I cut condiment for omelette tomorrow which are capsicum, onion and tomato.<br><br>p/s: I’m doing pancake ;)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the first day to work in Bintang Restaurant which is at 18th floor. I am scheduled to be here until Thursday. But my shift was 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm so I will have to help at Kontiki Kitchen from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm as Bintang Kitchen shift start from 3:00 pm.<br><br>So, once I reached Kontiki Restaurant, Chef Leiza told me to cut omelette condiment. Then, after I finished I straight go to Bintang. I was introduced with Dila (Commis 2), Chef Gary (CDP) and Chef Latif (Sous Chef). <br><br>Dila said today nothing much need to do for mise-en-place as yesterday didn’t use up many. She just told me to refill butter if it left a few. Then, she taught me to do the bowl for caesar salad.<br><br>After break, she called me to put a few bread to the oven for the guest to start up while waiting for foods. Then, she taught me on how to do the setting for burger. And later on, I peeled a few big prawn for soup purpose.<br><br>After that, Dila told me to put ice-cream in the big half bowl for the menu ‘going banana’. It is combination of 3 ice-cream which are chocolate, vanilla and strawberry then put some banana in it.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today was Easter Day. So, Kontiki Kitchen full of guest and I helped to refill foods that almost finish.<br><br>During I’m at Bintang, there were only Chef Gary and Dila was not here yet. Then, I remembered that Dila told me to put chopping board and knife if I reach early. So, I put 3 different color of chopping which is brown, red and green. The brown stand for cooked meat, red is for seafood and raw meat, green is for vegetable.<br><br>Then, after that I refilled butter and parsley leaves. I prepare salad for the burger. Not long Dila reached, she called me to cut avocado to make avocado salad. Avocado salad consist of avocado, onion and tomato. Then, squish some lemon juice and a little bit salt.<br><br>Before go for break, she told me to put in bread at the oven and refill some cherry tomato at dessert area. After break, she showed on how to do setting for avocado crab meat salad. Then, she told me to peel a few small prawn.<br><br>After that, she did 2 apple crumble pie setting and she wants me to do 1 more as the same setting.<br><br>p/s: This was the crab that ordered by guest</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I am scheduled at 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm where I will need to help at Kontiki Kitchen first. So, as usual, Chef Leiza will gave me order to do someting, And for today, she told me to prepare omelette condiments. After that, I helped to clear buffet and about 3:15 pm I headed up to Bintang Kitchen.<br><br>During at Bintang Kitchen, Dila called me to cut off the spoil area of onion. Chef Latif said to prevent the onion from spoiling, we should unwrap the onion to make sure it is not wet. After break, I prepare the bread to place in microwave. <br><br>But, today was not many reservation as it is not weekend or public holiday. The reservation for today was 2 easter menu. Then, Chef Latif wants me to take off the clam shell. The clam is for the use of clam chowder soup in the easter menu.<br><br>Then, Dila called me to cut new fruits for dessert.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today once I reached Kontiki, Chef Leiza asked me to helped her to find crab filament at freezer where located at pastry. The freezer is totally cold and I brain freeze until night. Then, I help to cut some vegetables for Chef Daniel.<br><br>Then, once I finished the lunch buffet clearance, I went to Bintang Kitchen. Today Dila asked me to peeled off the potato skin for making the mashed potato. It is about only 6 potatoes that needed to do the mashed potato.<br><br>After break, we waited for the ala-carte order or we called as walk-in guest.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today during at Kontiki, Chef Fais wants me to do the mini fish and chip for hi-tea purpose. The ingredient used was eggs, flour and bread crumb. I make it until about 3:45 pm and I went to Bintang Kitchen.  Once I reached there, I checked for the butter, parsley and salad to make sure it is enough. <br><br>After break, I prepare for the bread. Then, we waited for the order where until about 8:00 pm only there was order. Then, Chef Latif assisted me on making green salad for the first order I got. Later on, I prepare myself the green salad, caesar salad, chocolate mousse and fruits.<br><br>Before went home, Chef Latif let me taste Bintang grill chicken. He said as a chef will have to know the taste of each foods. So, today is the last day at Bintang Kitchen and starting tomorrow I will be in Kontiki Kitchen back.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today my schedule was 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kontiki Kitchen. Once I reached, Chef Leiza called me to take care outside kitchen while cut the chili for a-la-carte use. After that, I peeled quite a lot of egg skin.<br><br>Later on, I helped to clear the buffet. And then Chef Daniel (Sous Chef) wants me to prepare spaghetti condiment which include mushroom, capsicum and onion.<br><br>After break, I helped at outside kitchen for BBQ Buffet which start at 6:30 pm.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today my schedule back to normal which is from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. So, at first I helped to top up the foods that almost finish.<br><br>Then, I helped at outside kitchen to make some fried egg, omelette and poached egg. Today hotel have “<em>gotong-royong</em>” event so some of the staff involved came to have breakfast here. So, it’s quite busy today.<br><br>Then, I helped to clear buffet. After that, during hi-tea buffet started, I take care of sushi area and made some sushi. When no guest request for sushi, I cut omelette condiment for tomorrow use.<br><br>After that, I helped to clear buffet.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today breakfast was very busy which covers 210 pax.  I keep refilled the foods for the guest. And later on, Chef Fais called me to made french toast. Then, I go to helped at the outside kitchen where I made omelette.<br><br>Then, I peeled some eggs for the “<em>nasi lemak</em>”. Not long after that, I helped to clear buffet and suddenly two guest requested for poached egg where each person 3 eggs.<br><br>After that, Chef Fais called me to made omelette for a-la-carte guest. This is the 2nd time I made omelette for a-la-carte. Then, I helped to set up the hi-tea buffet.<br><br>After break, I quickly went to sushi area to made some sushi before the buffet started. Then, I keep rolled the rice while Chef Tan helped to cut salmon for the guest.<br><br>Then, I helped Chef Fais to delivered sandwich to Ballroom 1. Then, I took banana leaf to cut into circle shape for the use of “<em>nasi lemak</em>” during breakfast breakfast for tomorrow.<br><br>After that, I cleared lunch buffet. And I went to M floor and pastry to find hash brown and fries to be place at Kontiki Kitchen.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the last day at kitchen area. So, during breakfast buffet, I checked for everything to make sure it is enough for lunch buffet. Then, I fried variety of “<em>keropok</em>”. And I pack all the “<em>keropok</em>” into a few plastic bag.<br><br>After break, Chef Daniel wants me to do the chicken boxing where I need to dip it with flour, egg and bread crumb.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the first day in Front Office Department. I am told to reached at 9:00 am and back at 5:00 pm. <br><br>When I reached there, DM Maniam (Duty Manager) called to choose whether to go for operator first or reservation first. So, I chose to go for reservation first.<br><br>Reservation here, I learned on how to key in booking data that the guest have booked online. So, Thomas (Reservation Staff) taught me step by step how to do it. And he gave me a few booking data which printed out from online to be key in.<br><br>After break, I go to reception and learned on the system where Kak Fina (Front Office Assistant) taught me.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today onward my shift was from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. So, once I reached, I head to the reception and see what Kak Fina taught Khairul and Sin Yee.<br><br>Basically, I stand and watch how the senior do check-in for the guest. After break, I see how they check-out guest, check-in guest and billing.<br><br>Then, slightly I learned on the payment of parking ticket. Parking ticket for the guest staying in the hotel will be count as complimentary whereas for the guest that having event or eat here will be charge flat rate which is RM 7.<br><br>So, I’ve handle a few parking ticket. There is a small machine that we need to punch in the ticket. And there is number that we need to adjust before punch in.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Once I reached, Ms Shuen brought us to the 14th floor which is Tower Block. She wants to show that each room have their own view and name. For example, SRT stand for superior twin.<br><br>After we back from see the showroom, En Rahmat (Manager) briefed us on the grooming and things needed to be know at FO.<br><br>Today I slowly able to key in guest profile during they check in. But most of the time I still see how the senior do the process.<br><br>I still not confident in doing it solo. Senior will stand next to me to guide me. At the night, most of the time I see Kak Ella (FO Executive) do the check in.<br><br>So, she taught me on how to print out registration card for the night shift staff. Once printed out, I need to put all of them into transparent A5 size file according to alphabet.<br><br>p/s: This were the registration card that I printed out</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As usual I came at 2:00 pm and straight went to the front line too see if there is anything new that I need to learned. Usually I will assist by Kak Fina on all the process. <br><br>So, she will taught if there is something I need to do. And today I got my own opera system id and password to operate the system. This opera system is the one to check in, check out and billing for the guest.<br><br>Today I used my own id to update guest profile and do some shares for the room that have been check in. Shares will need to do if there is multiple room book by a guest.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today once I reached, I went to operator room to help Ms Prema (Operator staff) in checking the extension line with name of staff to make sure it is correct.<br><br>Then, I headed to front line for usual things that I do which is like key in shares profile detail. Other things I did must use Kak Fina account.<br><br>So, senior will be very serious about this as there is record that which front office assistant that key in the guest.<br><br>At the night, I read the things that Kak Wani (Front office assistant lend me.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Start today I am schedule at night shift which is from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Night shift is rather quiet than daily normal shift.<br><br>So, today I am assisted by Fhayzah (Front Office Assistant) and Mr Maniam (Duty Manager). Fhayzah said if normal day on night shift there will be not more than 10 guest check-in.<br><br>She taught me that things I need to do was arrange the register card accordingly and attach together with their attachment.<br><br>After that, check petty cash drawer to make sure float money is enough which is RM 1500.00. After checked the money, Fhayzah wrote in the book.<br><br>Then, she taught me to divide the guest register card according to due out guest and in house guest. Later on, she showed me on how to print the report where it consist of newspaper report, complimentary breakfast report, in house guest for mini bar and breakfast report.<br><br>After that, she said we need to post money in the system where putting in the reference number of receipt to the system for each guest and printed out the details then just staple it.<br><br>p/s: This is one of the report that Fhayzah showed me on how to print it<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the second day being in night shift. Today I was still assisted by Fhayzah but a different duty manager which is Ms Lisa. <br><br>So, the first thing I do was arrange the guest register card. And arrange guest register card according to the due out guest and in house guest.<br><br>Then, she called me to refill the amenities such as key card holder and A4 paper for photostat machine.<br><br>After that, Fhayzah called me to print report that she taught me yesterday and post money to the system.<br><br>p/s: This is the guest register card that I divided out according to due out guest and in house guest</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I am assisted by Kak Wani (Front Office Assistant) and Ms Lisa. So, after I reached, I sort the registration card according to the due one guest and in-house guest. <br><br>And Kak Wani asked me that what I have learned for these 2 days from Fhayzah. So, I answered here that I’ve learned to sort the registration card, post money, print reports, refill amenities and count petty cash.<br><br>Then, I helped Kak Wani for check-in guest and answered guests’ questions. So, before system shut down for night audit, I printed out the newspaper report for porter and vacant clean room with the assist of Kak Wani.<br><br>After night audit where the system back to normal, I printed out another 4 reports which is newspaper report for operator, breakfast list, guest complimentary and in-house guest with the assist of Kak Wani too.<br><br>p/s: So, this is the environment during midnight </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>So, today I get more used to the job scope during night shift. I reached front office, I quickly headed to front line and sort the registration card.<br><br>After that, there was a guest from India came for walk-in check in. So, Kak Wani assisted me to check in the guest. And I slowly know how to handle it.<br><br>I learned that most important thing is we must have good knowledge so that if guest ask questions and we will able to answer it.<br><br>So, today I printed all the reports by my own without the assist of Kak Wani.<br><br>Then, not long after that, another walk-in guest came for check-in. I managed to check in the guest by my own except for selecting room where I will ask Kak Wani opinion.<br><br>Before I end my shift for today, there are a lot of guest checked out and Kak Wani will print out the post money details to submit to accountant.<br><br>p/s: This is one of the report that I printed</div>]]></description>

There’s nothing special today as everything is like usual.<br><br>And there were only 6 arrival based on the system which mean there will be only 6 check-in guest exclude the one who walk-in check-in.<br><br>So, I done all the reports before night audit and after night audit.          <description><![CDATA[<div>YESSS! So, today is the last day working in the midnight shift. I admit that it is really tiring and suffering because I need to stay awake at the midnight where I usually sleeping at this hour.<br><br>I reached the office and quickly do the things I usually do and checked in guest. After that, I counted drawer cash money.<br><br>I think I’m getting more confident in communicating with guests. I can answer the things they ask and be friend with them as there were a guest that I checked in him will always come to chat with me.<br><br>So, today there was a walk-in guest that totally is under me where I don’t get any assist from Kak Wani and Ms Lisa. The check in include choosing the room and collect payment from the guest.<br><br>And I asked a few details regarding credit card payment from Kak Wani.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today I worked only with Ms Doris where Azman and Mr Thomas was on leave for Wesak Day.<br><br>So, Ms Doris gave me bookings to be key in. I learned a lot to count the rate for the room after yesterday's revision.<br><br>There are difference between the agent online rate. For example, I have to take the amount that sent by the agent and multiply with 1.16 (Taxes) then divide by the agent rate.<br><br>The agent rate at Federal Hotel for Agoda is 15%, Expedia is 20%, Traveloka is 15% and other more.<br><br>Then, at 5:00 pm, I went to front line as Ms Doris finished her duty at this hour.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today just as usual 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Today I worked with Azman only.<br><br>Then, Azman only gave me a few bookings to key in for today. Most of the time I go to front line to help whatever I can help.<br><br>For example, Abang Sulaiman wants me to be translator between him and a guest from China.<br><br>In the meantime, I helped to cut off the breakfast time to be staple at the key card envelope for the guest.<br><br>Then, at 5:00 pm, I stayed at front line until 6:00 pm because reservation time for today is also 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.<br><br>p/s: This is the breakfast time that I cut for key card envelope</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today after I reached, there were a lot of booking for me to be key in.<br><br>So far, so good, that I never did any mistake for today. Nothing that I can learn more. Except things that I got curious then I will ask the senior staff.<br><br>Things that I asked were about the credit card machine. I'm curious on how they blocked and release deposit on guest credit card, how they print out report detail after they finish their shift and how they do the settlement.<br><br>And while I waited for the guest, En Mat asked me to change the Privacy Secure Certification.          <description><![CDATA[<div>After almost one month being at this department, I nearly forgot to talk about the front office briefing.<br><br>Briefing will be on the back office, talk about the current issue, handle by the managers, and it is on every 3:00 pm.<br><br>Today my job are just like usual. But there was a guest that I checked in wanted a room with view although he booked a room without view. <br><br>And I just give the rate based on the weekly rate. And this thing had carried to briefing that I didn't join. Then, they were all blaming to Kak Wani because taught the wrong thing to me. <br><br>Lastly, Ms Lisa came to me and ask "So, you already know that upgrade to room with view should add another RM 30?".<br><br>p/s: This is the place where briefing were carry out</div>]]></description>

I came at 8:00 am and placed at front line then back home at 4:00 pm.<br><br>Nothing special today just I faced different guest with different wretched.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There were only 4 days left for the internship program at Federal Hotel.<br><br>I admit that I feel so hard at first but after that I feel comfortable and now I am reluctant to leave Federal Hotel.<br><br>There are so much experiences that I gain from the situation I faced, from the staff here, from the guest and from the environment here.<br><br>I also learned that Federal Hotel has it's own nostalgic event. No wonder that furniture setting are quite old.<br><br>p/s: This is the place they put the keys during old days</div>]]></description>

As the current id that the ICT Department gave me not accessible to cashiering and some of the check-in.<br><br>Some of the check in without involve payment only I am able o check-in the guest. Then, the senior staff will want me to do it myself at the other side counter.<br><br>If check-in that involve payment, whether I use the senior staff id or I help the senior staff at their side.<br><br>p/s: This is the machine that use to make key card</div>]]></description>

My shift was from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.<br><br>I spent well the day with the senior staffs and hope I can get the last knowledge from them.<br><br>Even if I am not working there in the future, but, I might can use the knowledge at other places.<br><br>So, everything were just like usual.
