Why don't the federal only decide who should be the leader because if we decide someone next to you (a friend) that is against your opinion might do something bad to you

its a big responsibility and people who are under the age 18 aren't mature enough to volunteer in the federal or states voting. Because if they do vote they might do something inappropriate and not know how to vote for who.
