I now only play soccer and ski. I am on a USA Metro team for soccer and I am on the AltaBird Free-ride team for skiing. Last season I was ranked 2nd in the nation and won nationals last February. This is a huge part of my identity because this is something I spend a ton of time doing and it is a huge source of happiness for me.
2. It seem like in our society, to define a persons ethnicity and culture, we look at the color of their skin, but in reality it is so much deeper than that.
3. It is partially a social construct. A society gathers important traits from their people and that is now used as a identifier for their people.
4. Race is based upon observable, visible traits.
