We understand how he was rescued (or saved)
Then, we see him in London with the Brown family
Paddington is very popular in the community
He goes to Mr Gruber's antique shop
He wants to buy a pop-up for aunt Lucy for her 100's birthday
A pop-up is a book that has parts that push out from a surface or from inside
The pop-up book is very expensive so Paddington must work to buy it.
He first works at Guiseppe Grooming Salon but he gets fired.
Paddington gets a second job as a window-cleaner.
He earns a lot of money
He then meets Phoenix Buchanan and he tells him about the pop-up book.
Miss Kozlova was the director of the fair.
A fair is a plqce of outside entrainment where there are machines for riding on and games that can be played for prizes
Miss Kozlova ‘s great grandmother made pop-up books everytime the fun fair changed cities.
Phoenix is interested in the book and wants to know more about it.
During one night, the pop-up book gets stolen.
Paddington who is not guilty, gets arrested.
Paddington goes to court where he gets judged.
The judge is the man to whom he cut his hair at Guiseppe’s grooming salon so this is no good for Paddington !
