This book is a dystopia which means it is happening in the future. What's interesting is that the main group in the novel are firefighters, however their job is not to fight fires.Their job is to burn books and homes of people who have and read books. The protagonist Guy Montag is also a firefighter but he has found a deep fascination in books which puts him in a vulnerable position between his job and his life. I highly recommend this book because the way the events happen is so intriguing and it makes you want to keep reading, and even as it seems that the problems and dangers are coming to an end, something unexpected happens that makes you want to continue reading.

This book is a fake utopia/dystopian novel about the future of humanity. Despite the fact that most people have read it already, I recommend revisiting it since it's extremely light, casual, and honestly fun to read. The book talks about different jobs in a society born with predetermined roles. In said society, the giver is a person who holds memories of the outside world. Our protagonist, as most of you have guessed by now, is the giver.

This book contains 100 chapters of advice and concrete ways in which you can live a more relaxed, productive and overall happy life. Each chapter is 3 pages long at most, so the book is very easy to read. The main idea of the book is that if we were to realize that oftentimes our perspectives and emotions about life make things bigger than they are, then focusing on improving those perspectives and controlling our emotions would lead to our problems being smaller and much easier to solve. I would highly recommend this book because it is very easy to read but that does not mean that it is not extremely helpful and full of great tips that will help you widen your perspectives and live a happier life.

This book is about a girl who lost her mother when she was a small kid, and she does not know anything about her. She starts looking for information about her and she finds her diary. She starts learning things about her mother that lead her to taking the same decisions as she did. For example, she decides to get involved with a much older guy. I recommend this book because it teaches you how to make good decisions and what to rely on. I also recommend this book because it is about a girl that does not have a family. This makes you realize how grateful you should be about having a family and someone who loves you.

They download an app to talk to people that know that they are dying, that is how Rufus and Mateo get to know each other. They live an amazing day full of adventure, romance and sadness. I would really recommend this book because you start questioning yourself, if this was my last day would I die happy?.

This dystopian fiction book describes the dangers that a totalitarian government creates by taking away the freedom of its citizens. The main character, Winston, is a Party Member who has started to detect the lies and wrongdoings that Big Brother or the government has committed. Throughout the story, the thought of his mother haunts him wherever he goes. The world has been divided into three superpowers, Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia who are constantly "fighting" against each other. After figuring all the lies from the government, Winston decides to join the BrotherHood, a secret group that will reveal the truth. I would highly recommend this book since it shows how a totalitarian government operates and the way that people follow it. It also shows how very simple things, like choosing what clothes to wear, should be appreciated.

A book about an australian 19 year-old who stayed in the town he grew up in. Working as an underage cab driver, often playing cards with friends, drinking, reading books, living with a dog so old it drinks coffee to function properly. Ed is a deadbeat man, in contrast to his brother and sisters who left the town and, accomplished something with their lives. However, when Ed and his friends find themselves in a bank robbery, which Ed stops, he receives fame in the town. Yet, after the robbery, Ed starts receiving cards with different adresses, shady people appear out of nowhere. Someone expects Ed to act, to involve himself in the locations he has been sent, and through being forced, Ed becomes "The Messenger". A reason that I like this book is Ed's journey in finding meaning through helping others, in the process becoming a better person. Also, the book does a good job at making side characters feel like actually nuanced people, which makes every message Ed delivers feel good and important. I also liked the book as it has some funny narration, tons of swearing, a dog who constantly wants to eat pie, and other funny, interesting and heart-touching things.

I really recommend this book because it opens your eyes clearly into reality. How strong and independent we are as women's. It especially makes you encounter and believe in yourself as a women. Being more secure about yourself and having a strong voice on the world. I think it's a very important book in order for women to read, where they will evolve and learn among themselves. Tessa draws parallels between her father's addiction and Hardin's father, Ken, who is separated from Hardin's mother and suffers with alcohol. The story of After We Fell is driven by Tessa's father's problems, and the remaining 850 pages are loaded with friendship turmoil, Tessa's struggle to move to Seattle while still holding on to Hardin, and the couple's relationship dynamics.

This is a mind-blowing spirituality book that gives you an incredible perspective on life and the negative thoughts and emotions that you experience. It helps the reader reflect on their own life and how it is currently being run by the mind. This book talks specially about all the things you are uncertain about and are not mentioned a lot, which makes readers feel understood and expands their knowledge significantly. For example, it talks about inner pain, how your mind sabotages you, presence, and fears. This is the right book for anyone that wants to make a major shift in how they perceive and live their life by going inward and dealing with everything stored inside. It is definitely a complex book to read, so you must read carefully to really feel that change in yourself. If you do get to experience it, you will be living your best life.

This is a book about a scientist who is inspired to create life. So he does such a thing, but when Victor Frankenstein, his creator, rejects him, and leaves him stranded in this society by his own, is when the reader can see who the real monster is. At the beginning, the creature wants to be accepted by someone, he does acts like helping impoverished families, or aiding people in perilous situations and he is thanked by people hitting him, wishing him death, shooting him, all because of his appearance. The wretch did not choose to be created, nor to be given that appearance, yet is treated like he did. I recommend this book because it gives the reader a sense of what some people suffer on a daily basis in this society, making you reflect on our morals and ethics. Sometimes we don't know the outcome of some of our actions, and that sometimes we may unconsciously act like Victor.

While the author is talking about the problems he has faced I found it really intriguing how relatable his and probably all of our problems are quite similar.

Travis lost his mother at a very young age, but before she passed away she taught Travis two important rules, love hard, fight harder. Travis was raised in a very masculine environment so he grew up tough and eventually made a living out of fights in college. He had a bad reputation with girls, and remarkably known for his fighting skills, all the girls wanted him and all the guys wanted to be him. Abby Abernathy soon comes to his life completely and utterly uninterested in him and is what sparks Travis's interest in her. It's what makes him want to fight for her. This is what makes him fall in love with her. I highly recommend this book to people who like romance novels and who are struggling to find a habit in reading. At the end of every chapter, this book leaves you wanting more and makes you really feel like you're in the book, as if you're in the life of the characters.

Just Mercy is the autobiography of Bryan Stevenson, lawyer and social justice activist. He narrates his story from when he was in his early 20 and decided he wanted to advocate for people who are condemned to death penalty. His main goal was to help the poor and minority in the justice system. When he was young and participated in an internship he was greatly impacted by the story of Walter McMillian, a young black man who was falsely accused of a murder. Bryan Stevenson then came back a few years later with the hope of getting Walter out of death row and jail. This book is an emotional rollercoaster and I recommend it to any one who would like to address the subjects of racism and death penalty.

This is a very unusual and unique book told from the perspective of a boy named Arn, just 11 years-old. It is a gutting and thrilling story about the Cambodian civil war that happened in the 70's. It portrays the injustices that the Cambodian population suffered in work camps were they starved or worked to death. Arn was sent alongside his brother to the kids camps, which told many sad stories about kids suffering and how Arn always used to see those kids dying as 'motivation' no always keep going and to not give up, to never fall down. I loved this book and I hope many people read it in the future.

This book narrates the story of a teenager called Pi. He along with his family are from India. His family own a zoo filled with various animals. Due to economic issues, the family of Pi decide to migrate to Canada, where they would start a new life. They embark the Tsimtsum (name of the "cruise" ship) and start their long journey. During one of the nights, Pi wakes up because he heard a strong noise coming from the engine room from the boat. Pi embarks in his exploring adventure to find what caused the strong noise, but just before things get interesting, the boat starts sinking and wild animals escape from their cages.Pi is able to survive the sinking, however his family doesn't. He is left alone in a small emergency boat with a zebra, an orangutan, a hiena and a tiger. From this point on, Pi narrates his survival story with the animals in his life boat. From tragedies, to fishing, to even discovering mysterious islands made out of roots in the middle of the ocean. The story is very interesting. The book was awarded with the Man Book Prize among many other awards. Every single chapter of the story is engaging and very fun to read. I would recommend this book to people that like adventure stories and also animals. I promise you will like the book!

Is a true story about a psychotherapist and one of his patients. The patient started to remember past-life traumas that he thought were the cause of all of his recurring anxiety attacks and nightmares. When the psychotherapist started to study this topic about past lives and the repercussions on the behavior of your recurring life he began to be amazed. He started to use this technique to treat his patients and uncover his own past life struggles. I really recommend this because its not only a fascinating true story about the way our past lives might be influencing us today. But, it also teaches the reader so many lessons on appreciating life and learning from those who surround us.

Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain, yet few people really know how it works. The book "Gut" written by Giulia Enders travels deeply into the digestive system from the moment we open our lips to ending up in the toilet bowl. The author includes chapters where she describes practical advice, such as the best ways to sit on the toilet or completely different chapters where she tells stories of gut bacteria that can lead to obesity, autoimmune diseases, or even suicide. Off course the book talks about a very specific theme, so when reading it you have to make sure that you are interested in the topic. If you are someone who is into human biology and how the body works, this book will be the perfect fit for you. I enjoyed reading the book because besides learning a lot about the digestive system, you really don't get bored thanks to the way the author delivers the information.

I really liked this book since it explains with a lot of details how the orphans were treated in United States in 1850. In the book there are two main characters Molly and Vivian. Molly is a teenage girl who just got adopted and after stilling a book she was forced to work at an old lady’s house, Vivian. It turned out that they were very alike and they ended up becoming friends. Vivian told Molly about how horrible her earlier life was since she was also an orphan. Whats most interesting and surprising in the book is to see how things were in the 1850. The author uses a lot details to explain everything that happens which makes it very engaging. I recommend this book to people that like to read fiction and about history.

Paula Abaroa
The book goes deep into the curse reality of our fake ingrained metrics and values that have provoked us to belief and expect great goals and achievements before understanding your reality and opportunities. He uses different short story’s and examples of different people that have either been miserable due to their poor metrics and others who have been able to succeed by understanding their reality. He talks about success not only in money and fame but also about self love and mental health. I liked the book because you can easily incorporate it i got your daily life and understand with your real life experiences, the message he is trying to deliver.

This book is about a kid named Stanley Yelnats that is accused of stealing some expensive shoes. He is declared guilty and instead of going to jail, he has to spend his summer in one of the hottest places in Texas. This place has absolutely no water and the only way to get access to it is by doing good work. Stanley and the other kids need to dig tons of holes each day because there's a story about a treasure hidden there. At the end something very interesting happens with the treasure. I liked this book a lot because I think that it is very entertaining and funny. It is also very creative, you can tell the author has a big imagination.

The book details two days of Holden's harsh life in New York after he is expelled from school. Holden has a hard time socially, since the few people he knows he pushes away with rude interactions. I like the book because of the way it is narrated, it is very blunt, and character perception is different to other books since Holden seems relatable through his unrelateability.

The setting is supposed to be a utopia with the perfect systems to keep everyone satisfied. She discovers she's divergent and she has to keep that secret while living in dauntless. I recommend this book because it is one of those books you simply cant get enough of. As the storyline develops, it keeps getting more exciting, interesting, and intense. The audience I would recommend it to would be young adults wanting to read something with action, love, and a dystopian setting.

It is a book that you can't stop reading, while you read it you learn some new vocabulary words, but it is easy to read. It is a peaceful book with teenage love involved, the scenario is on the beach it is summer. Belly is the principal character, she is a very nice girl who is in love with a handsome boy. She had a crush on his brother as well, it is like a mini tv show developing in your head. I really enjoyed reading the book. I am glad I read this book because I finally found what kind of books I enjoy reading. I recommend this book for boys and girls but specially for girls.

I would recommend this book because to people that like fiction. I recommend this to people who like fiction because the book is very mystical and plays with spells and that sort of stuff. It is the story of a small guy that must travel through the world to defeat a terrible night witch trying to conquer the Middle Earth. Still, it is a very well developed storyline that progresses its multiple characters throughout the novel and has a great finish that sets you up for the next book. One thing I might warn people about is that is has many advanced words or words that aren't that common anymore, but it is still understandable and you get used to it. It is a great book that people should read through the summer.

This 545-page, realistic-fiction book talks about two men that were born on the same day, but on very different worlds. Abel Rosnovski was born a homeless orphan in the deep polish forest, while William Lowell Kane was born son of a Boston millionaire in the heart of the city. In their path to build a fortune, these two men are destined to literally clash against one another. The book starts with the birth of these two men and ends with them in their elder-age, and all along the book they bump into each other in the most rarest situations. I would say this two men have the most interesting rivalry I have ever seen in either books or movies. I truly recommend this book because it's extremely easy to read. It has easy vocabulary and it's easy to understand what's going on at all times. If you want to learn about business, entrepreneurs, rivalries, vengeance, love, hate, and more, this book has it all.

She interviews big wave surfers such as Laird Hamilton who was one of the pioneers of the sport, meteorologists and ship salvagers in South Africa, and some others. She is amazed at how these surfers ride waves many times bigger than them, some getting up to 70ft tall. I recommend this book because it opens your view to a new extreme sport where one slip and you could die before you know what hit you.

Last Chance is a novel where the characters are in a post apocalyptic world where a zombie like virus from another planet has made its way into every adult in earth and the main characters are Earths only hope as teenagers are not affected by the virus and have a limited time to find the surge of the attack on earth. I recommend this book as its very action driven and its a interesting concept of a virus and a alien attack.

This is a nonfiction book that concentrates on becoming a better and highly successful person. This is a book that I absolutely loved because of how helpful it became to me and to my personal projects. What’s interesting about this book is that every helpful tip that is given from the author is supported with a study as evidence. At the end of each chapter, one will have a summary of everything read and what should be the biggest takeaways! Today, the author is a very famous life trainer and Ted Talker that is helping a global society. This book is for people who are starting a new business, project, or simply want to work on themselves in a more dynamic and professional way. Its tips include how to build habits, what mistakes to not do, and which results you should be looking for.

This is a realistic fiction book about a boy called Theodore Decker who's mom dies in the bombing of an art museum while he survives. After the catastrophe, an old man tells him to steal the famous painting "The Goldfinch" and gives him a ring to give back to his associate because he won't come out alive. Theo struggles through life as he moves from a friends house to his alcoholic father's house and back to New York. Always carrying the painting around. The media is looking for the painting, as it is costs millions of dollars, but he won't give it back as they will put him in jail. Theo meets lots of interesting people along the way like his Russian friend Boris, who simply makes life funner, and encounters lots of obstacles. I really recommend this book to anyone who loves drama and mystery.
