James Madison has to do with separation of powers because as said on biography.com, " In 1787, Madison represented Virginia at the Constitution Convention. He was a federalist at heart, thus campaigned for a strong central government. In the Virginia Plan, he expressed his ideas about forming a three-part federal government, consisting of executive, legislative and judicial branches. He thought it was important for this new structure to have a system of checks and balances, in order to prevent the abuse of power by any one group.

People in the U.S in the time of the constitution valued separation of powers because they just fought a devastating war in order to not have the power abused which they gave to King George. Now at that time, their number one worry is that the power of the government will be abused and that whole issue with King George will just happen again.

One quote explaining that he does promote separations of powers is when James Madison stated '' Liberty may be endangered by abuse of liberty, but also by the abuse of power". This quote shows how strongly James Madison feels about abuse of power which means the solution to that which is separation of powers, would be his number one most valued part of the constitution.

This picture represents James Madison taking charge for representation of power because as you can see he's standing in front and looks like he was presenting an idea. Based on how much James Madison pushed forwards the idea of separation of powers, he was most likely representing separation of powers to all the people.
