Important note: this is not a conflict of interest form! There are many legit interest you'll have. Yet you should state your relationship with other similar trainings, such as those by ISSUP (INEP+), your relationship with other organisations who are doing similar trainings etc. This document is going to be published on the trainers' list.

Flight and Arrival

Please book ASAP your flights and accommodation: hotels are often quickly fully booked up in Lisbon.

And book your flight so that your arrival time at the airport leaves you enough buffer time to be absolutely in time for the start of the meeting around noon on Monday. The first few hours are particularly important.

Getting into town and to the EUDA:

upon arrival at the airport, try to avoid the taxis in the arrival area. Either get an Uber or take the cabs one level higher at the departure zone. Go right after customs control and take the smaller escalator (left) to the departure zone.

A trip downtown costs not much more than 12€ by cab.

Accomodation

If you have not booked a hotel yet, try the area along Av. Almirante Reis. It is a less distinguished area, with more affordable prices. Below that avenue goes the green metro line that takes you directly to the doorstep of the EUDA at the end of line: Cais de Sodré station)

If you get a public transport card, charge it with money (instead of with trips). Then you can use it for buses, elevators, metro …. and boats.

The latter is relevant if we want to go to a simple but good sea-food restaurant on the other side of the river, for maybe a second dinner on Wednesday evening. It’s a real-life trip of 10 minutes river crossing, together with Lisbon’s working class who are going home by ferry in the evening. We have alternatives if you don’t like seafood or don’t wanna take public transport.

We always make a photo sessions or individual photos. We need this authorisation for using them and for having you on the photos at all.
