Our data shows how much an emphasis and initiatives there are around WBL, building local partner coalitions, engaging with our JPA partners and their staff. Enrollment in regional is up, partly due to our vast community of students that are now becoming more aware of of our programs - this can be attributed to concerted effort to engage our ROP Counselors. Additionally, our communication (publicity) efforts with our community has vastly improved. Our partner engagement is second to none. One area of growth is our centralized communications and social media, but we're maximizing impact with what is being done.

Beginning with the 2024-2025 fiscal year, NOCROP has an organizational membership with the California Workforce Association. This has allowed the Adult Career Education team to build new relationships and strengthen existing relationships with the three Orange County workforce development boards and the South Bay Workforce Development Board (SBWIB), facilitated introductions to other potential partners, collaborate with grant writing, and create processes for assisting adult learners with referrals and the paperwork required to qualify for Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) federal funding dollars. The Adult Career Education team collaborates with the SBWIB staff to complete all of the detailed and extensive reporting and paperwork required to maintain our status on the Education Training Provider List (ETPL). Being on the ETPL allows NOCROP's Adult Career Education Programs to be listed on both I-Train and CalJOBS, which is a requirement for many federal, state, or local grants.

I have developed a work-based learning program in which my advanced and honors graphic design students meet, consult, and do work for companies and non-profit organizations in the community and beyond.

Each year we accept between 25 and 35 clients. Projects range from collateral like flyers, brochures, posters, and other advertising materials, to logos and branding projects. The program offers the opportunity for students to practice their soft skills including communication and behavior when dealing with clients and people who they are unfamiliar with. As with real life projects, occasionally projects don't turn out as expected, with clients unhappy with the results, or deadlines being missed. Regardless, good or bad outcomes give students an opportunity to learn how to respond.

At the moment we are at St. Catherine Health Care, its a Skilled Nursing Facility. I have the VN Students and they love the experience that they're experiencing.
