The scaffolds depend on the language approach we are requested to teach in. If we need to teach the students English, being able to explain the ins and outs of English grammar in Spanish helps a lot of kids. If we are focusing on teaching the students grade level skills in their home language, we need access to quality slides/curriculum resources in Spanish

When you teach English have some kind of translated document so students can follow

Tbt standards should give lee way as to how we get to those standards, sort of let us use prerequistes

I use a lot of songs in my teaching in English and Spanish to grab the students attention. Music is very powerful. Also, making connections to modern "likes" of the students is helpful
