Interest can also be known as passion. When you have interest in something it makes getting better easier. Doing something you are passionate about makes it easier for you to push through the hard times. When there is no interest in the goals you are trying to accomplish it is hard to come up with a reason to finish when times get tough or you get stuck. My interest is to be the best camera man in country.

In order to reach my goal I must practice. Practicing is what helps develope the skills you are working on. Without practice you would make it almost impossible to reach your goals. I know that my color correction in post is my weakest point so the only way to get better is by testing my skills constantly.

Purpose

Giving your goal a purpose gives you the motivation to do your best and finish whatever you start. Without purpose there is no urge to be correct or finish a task. When you have a purpose connected to a goal it makes you work harder and pay attantion to detail more than normally. A football team will practice a set of plays with the purpose of executing them perfectly in the game to win.
