In this time students K-12 are faced with the challenge of learning from home also known as distance learning. Due the school shutdown because of the COVID-19 students and also teachers/professors are faced with the challenge of learning from home.

The pro's and con's of distance learning are that students have a new way of communication, but it's still a challenge. For example it states, even for districts that we work with who are leaders of virtual learning, this is still a huge mountain to climb." This quote shows how the distance learning is challengeing for pepole who allready used it. Another quote states "Many teachers and their students are likely to learn — as teachers in Northshore did last week — that there are creative and effective ways to teach and learn remotely." This quote shows how their are creative ways students are likely to learn during distance learning. Overall this shows how distance learning is still a challenge and a new way of communication.

In conclusion, this shows how teachers/professors have the challenge of distance learning, also students but they have creative way to pull through during this time.

Distance  learning is the ability to  stay at home and Learn as if you were in school, you can be more comfortable learning from an environment that I like. As school leaders look for ways to minimize the disruption to children's learning  and try to avoid extending the school year through the summer.But he also saw many ways that this approach was deeply inequitable, squeezing out students without access to computers. Not every child has a parent or a caregiver available to keep them on task. What’s good about distance learning, is you have lots of ways you can get help with your work. People can use platforms like Google Classroom, and Zoom for video conference calls. Certain assignments will be due at set times and students can easily submit them. Now, all good things aren’t always perfect. Teachers now host video conference meetings for students on computers and mobile, so students can conference with each other, and take lessons at home. Most teachers say there is not much better to offer. At this time, students face many challenges to learn at home while they have no internet devices to learn at home with their teachers and they have to wake up early to go there in the online class at home. Teachers at thousand of schools across the country are finding a way to teach students by using google classroom and zoom to communicate to students and assign work for them to do at home. In many of the states, governors have to close the school and displace students from the class is because some of the states have confirmed the coronavirus infected people across the country so, they have to place the student at home to learn online to not get infected from the virus.                                                                                                                                                                                        Distance learning is hard for kids to learn at home in online because the kids are receiving a lot of assignments from the teachers that they have to do at home. Also, teachers are having a difficulty to set kids down during the video conference when the kids are interrupting the class. The text stated'' Some students put their pets in front of the camera or invite their friends from other schools to stop by the video classrooms. Kids have the problem to take their online classes serious to learn at home.
