It gives worldly

context and how it relates to the topic at hand of someone being either male or female

dependent on what activities that they do.

Web. 2 Feb. 2015.

  -What is this article 'bout?:

Women are being stereotyped under the male image as weak dependent beings who need a bigger entity to watch over them. Feminism enables a lady to empower herself and break this string of patriarchal denomination.

Women stereotypically work with arts and crafts, purchase things. Their activities are supposed to be different, yet they are one in the same. Women are predominantly seen with kitchen stoves, yet men are selling them, and men are associated with mechanization, but more and more females are going into that area every year.

LKay's article was about how our population is more susceptible to stereotyping the female gender and deteriorating its intelligence as it is done.-->this turn of phrase reminds me how sometimes really smart ladies dumb down to make a guy feel attracted toward her. It's all about the want for attention. Females are belittled to make them feel more wanted in society, but this ruins their state of mind since they can't be who they want to be.

***It also brings up the medical differences between males and females medically. Defining the male population as being better drivers, and visually perceptive versus the female population whereas the female population auditor ally can perceive a familiar sound such as that of a baby's cry and excel at both speech and affective tasks. "The human body judges by patterns" versus each individual personality wehich is why most try to conform to this sense of pattern b/c it is comfatrable. Stereotyping impacts our overall behavior (as was shown by the testing done w/ graphs).

If you ask me, the human cognitive way of thinking is rather black and white because we don't see "all of the different" flavors and personalities there are in the world. T/S: when I went the WIE at Georgia Tech , the speaker mention all of the different flavors of students there are and how there was several different grading scales to choose from and sift through, people from all over the world of different personalities, yet we chose to characterize by two simple traits or ways of doing something.
