It offers Primary Education to  students aged 6 to 12 years.

Our school was built in 1982. It has 150 students, 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th grades. We also have a special education class. Each classroom has an interactive whiteboard. We have a basketball court and floor games. There is a nice garden

The priorities of the school are

1.            Improvement for all students in both school performance and social development by addressing individual needs of all learners.

2.            Creating a happy school environment for all students with friendly atmosphere, extra curricular activities, student motivation and different pedagogical approaches.

3.            Close cooperation with families and community.

There are about 500 hundred students.

It's a bilingual school that teaches English since Infant Education. The surroundings are pleasant and it counts with plenty of facilites like a library, a sport centre, a park.

Alhucema has always been like a great family. The students are kind and commited. Teaches carry out plenty of different projects, being E-twinning an example off it, having participated some years from now, and we will go on!

We have a lot of extra, afterschool classes like dancing, art, sport, choir and many other. Students from our school take part in a lot of interesting competitions and projects but the first time in eTwinning project.

Since then, it has been a private school where students can study from the age of one up to Baccalaureate.

Its educational activity began in a small house in the north of Madrid which was dedicated to Pre-School Education. In subsequent years, courses and levels were expanded to include all the steps leading to University admission.

At the beginning of the 1980-1981 academic year, the school moved to La Moraleja, and in September 2019 opened its Infants and Toddlers Educational Centre in La Moraleja, calle Camino Ancho 12, exclusively for students of that age.

Colegio Base International School is a medium-sized centre, thus offsetting the problems of overcrowding seen at large centres and the resource limitations seen at the smaller ones.
