Hi! I'm Alexis Leer A. Hubay, but you can call me "Alex" for short. One adjective I can use to describe myself is accommodating, which many people confirmed because that's their first impression of me. I've heard a lot of people say that I'm good at communicating with people and making them feel included, I'm not entirely confident about my way of communicating with people because some see the way I communicate as the term "feeling close" or "pabida", that's why I'm glad that some people find the way I communicate comforting and pleasing.

One of my hobbies is reading Manhwa, manhwa is a Korean comic similar to Japanese mangas. The genre I mostly read is historical, involving empress and emperors. I find it interesting even though most historical manhwas use the same plot, like recycling the same plot and it's getting repetitive. I also read psychological horror or thriller manhwas or webtoons, the term "psychological" has always piqued my interest which resulted in some of my favorite shows involving horror or psychological elements. Another hobby of mine is making stories, as much as I love writing, I'm not a really good writer or good at expressing my feelings through words. It gets difficult when I'm trying to express what I want to portray in my writing but, it has always been my hobby to write even though I'm not good at it.

I'm quite versatile when it comes to values. I value the feelings of people around me more than my own. I admit that I'm quite of a "people pleaser" which means it's hard to say "no" to other people. As a people pleaser, I don't mind doing many things for my friends because I'm afraid of abandonment, maybe because it reflects my past traumas that resulted in me becoming a people pleaser. Additionally, I think about the good qualities of every person I meet. As humans, sins can not be avoided and it is natural for us to commit a sin because we are sinners. That is why every time I meet someone new, I always think of the goodness in them because, behind every sin we make, everyone has kindness inside of them even if that person doesn't have a good reputation around people.

I take an interest in a lot of things; one of my interests is watching documentaries. Ever since I was young, I have found crime to be a work of art and interesting. The workings of the human mind amaze me and how people go to such lengths to satisfy themselves through the art of crime. I'm also interested in paranormal activities, such as some urban legends from other countries and our own. Just like the infamous urban legend in Japan, 'the girl in the mask,' or an urban legend in our country about the waving children in Toril Eden. I'm 50/50 when it comes to ghosts; sometimes I do believe in them, and sometimes I don't; it just depends on what the story behind it is. A lot of people think that paranormal activities are just a hoax and that it's just a silly story made to tell children so they wouldn't wander off. Some think that it's true, especially kids. Whether it's true or not, it has always piqued my interest, and the story behind every urban legend amazes me and sometimes scares me.

I have taken an interest in an animation on YouTube named "Alien Stage". Alien Stage is about a singing battle between humans that is orchestrated by aliens because they find the human voices unique and it is one thing in human nature that they can't replicate. The winner of each round gets to live and the loser of the round dies as punishment. Each contestant showed their unique singing styles and personalities in each round. Like in round 1, Mizi and Sua showed their strong bond as childhood friends and how they just chose to have fun and sing their last song together. In round 2, Till shows his dedication to winning because he likes Mizi and chooses to live for her, which he swiftly wins and devours his opponent. In round 3, Ivan shows the same intention as Till but, Ivan lives for Till because he likes him. Round 4 was never revealed and has been a mystery, while in Round 5, Luka was introduced in the semi-finals in which he faced Mizi. Luka does a dirty trick and tries to manipulate Mizi by acting or making her remember some actions that Sua does (her childhood friend who lost the first round). Luka won round 5 but, Mizi was later missing as she was rescued by the rebels (a group who had escaped the hands of the aliens that captured them). In round 6, Ivan and Till faced each other, and later, Ivan sacrificed for Till by getting himself disqualified. In the last round, round 7, Till and Luka faced each other, whereas Luka tried to do the same trick he did with Mizi but, he was manipulating him by acting as Ivan. Till is guilty of the death of Ivan and he is his weakness while Mizi is his strength. In the end, Luka placed first and won the whole battle.

My favorite artist is the band Chase Atlantic. I've been a fan of their band since the early 2021. My current favorite song is Drugs & Money by Chase Atlantic. I can say that my music taste is versatile as I like different kinds of genres my liked songs on Spotify are quite messy considering the different types of genres of music in it. Some underrated musicians that I like are Mad Tsai, Elijah Woods, and AUSTN. They make good pop kinds of music and I would recommend them to other people who are interested in the same genre of music that they make.

My favorite video game is Genshin Impact. The character designs on Genshin hooked me and made me play especially the character Diluc and Scaramouche. I've been a huge fangirl of Scaramouche and I've bought a plushie, the cat version of Scaramouche. The graphics in Genshin also made me want to play the game. The plot and lore are really good but, it was quite confusing over time as I got lost in the lore and I was getting too lazy to read the dialogues of the game. Overall though, I would recommend the game to anyone and encourage them to play as well, especially if they like RPG and open-world games.

One of my all-time favorite series is Alice in Borderland. The storyline got me hooked on the show and the actors portrayed the characters well, also the cast that was chosen got me hooked, especially Kento Yamazaki being there. I'm a huge fan of Kento Yamazaki and I've watched some of his movies and shows such as Death Note live-action and The Door Into Summer. Alice in Borderland showed some elements we face today like hierarchy and power and the plot was so good that I recommended this show to a lot of people. Although this show is popular, the fandom has been quite quiet nowadays because there have been no new seasons out since last 2 years ago. I do hope they'll make season 3 soon.

This is Kuni. I got his name from Scaramouche, my favorite character from Genshin Impact. Scaramouche's full name is Kunikuzushi Scaramouche and I got the name Kuni from Kunikuzushi. I got him last year 2023 around June and he has been my best friend ever since. I'm a big cat lover and I was so happy when we were finally getting a cat. I do hope that we'll get another cat so Kuni has a friend to play with while I'm busy with schoolwork or I'm out of the house. I can say that Kuni is quite a chill cat considering that he is a ginger cat, which some people explain as energetic cats.

The love of my life!!

He is the best and sweetest guy I ever met. I'm grateful to have him in my life and just spending time with him already makes my day better. He is my best friend and my gossip buddy. He's always there when I need him and he spoils me with the things I want. Like when I tell him I'm craving for something, he buys it for me and he always makes sure that I'm properly fed. He also listens to my interest and he loves me despite my weird attitude. I know we're still young and a lot can happen but, I want us to work out until we grow up and become responsible individuals. It's nice to daydream about what we would be like when we grow up such as going grocery shopping together, traveling together, being each other's person, and trying on weird foods together. He's my comfort person, my "always" person, and the person I want to spend the rest of my lifespan with. I know a lot of teenage love ends but, I will give my best efforts for us to work and continue staying together 6 years from now.

We fight and argue a lot about small things but, I'm grateful to have her in my life. She's seen me through my ups and downs and she knows what's best for me. She also makes sure I'm safe and I'm taken care of. She does her best to give me my needs and wants and she spoils and rewards me for doing my best at school and maintaining my honors streak. I know she's tired of working to provide for my needs that's why I'm grateful for her and I want to make sure to give her the best life after I graduate and become financially stable.

I'm grateful to my friends who've been there for me and never left me despite our disagreements. They made my life better for being there for me and I look forward to the future memories we'll spend together as friends. High school is about to end and I hope our friendship won't drain and we'll continue to be friends even in college. They helped me grow as a person and become what I am today without them, I wouldn't be who I am today, I would still be stuck in the past, and wouldn't change as a better person.
