Summary: Rachael Lines, FRONTLINEdance, co-created and engaged with staff, patients, visitors at Royal Stoke, County Hospital Stafford, and Queens Hospital, Burton. Together we created 'Forget Me Knot' - A contemporary dance and music performance and participatory work. Greg Hall created a beautiful song with patients and visitors which he sang and played live whilst dancers Clare Reynolds and Mary Prestige danced, with Rachael and the staff dancing and interacting with patients. A second dance was created whilst Greg played his Cello - a composition made specifically for this work. This included dancing with the patients. The work took us onto wards with multiple bays, side rooms, lounge areas and extended into a community hospital tour. The work was really well received and supported by hospital staff.
