Carlo betrachtet das Denkmal vom Horizont der Gegenwart und vergleicht dabei die Straßennamen (früher Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße) und die Beschaffenheit des Denkmals (früher mit Büste auf dem Sockel). Er stellt damit einen Gegenwartsbezug her.
