Women can't drive, they have to wear veils, men are in charge of them. Men tell them where they work and if they can go, tell them if they can marry, and what they can do. Now most women are allowed to interact with the government, like register to vote. 14,000 women in Saudi Arabia have signed a petition to their practice and they sent it in to the government. The women lives are controlled by the men from birth to death. The male guardianship still remains today in Saudi Arabia. So many women of gone on protests, they aren't even allowed to try on clothes at the clothing store. There are some cases where women don't put on their veils, but they end up getting in trouble by the authorities and men.
