Martin Luther King Jr"s "I Have A Dream Speech was such a moving speech to Americans but more importantly to the black community because the black community was still being segregated and still had no rights to which they were allowed as U.S citizens.King makes the greatest demonstration in history of freedom for the nation, he also speaks of segregation on how the negro is still 100 years later not free, still held down by segregation keeping them from the life they deserve. King used non-violence as his way to connect with the crowd to demonstrate how critical just how valuable it was that racial discrimination and hatred was going to ruin the nation .He believed that one day his own children would be able to join hands and play with white boys and white girls as one not separate not segregated. Kings dream was a dream for which he didn't get to see because he was assassinated on his balcony of the hotel he was staying at in Memphis,TN....A quote be Martin Luther King That i find to be my favorite::Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.Hate cannot drive out hate only love can do that.
