Harsha veena R N (CB.EN.U4ECE18526)
A village is a very peaceful place with green lush-fields and unpolluted environment. It is also a shelter for many domestic animals like cows, goats, etc. People in the village take great care of their animals as they help them with their livelihood. Cows help in farming and bulls are used in farms for doing heavy work. Many animals give milk which is a great source of income for many in the villages. Poultry farming is also quite common in villages, where domesticated birds like chickens, ducks are raised to produce eggs and meat.
Also, animal sports like Cockfights and Jallikattu are quite common in villages which has been a tradition since ages and signifies great reverence for our culture.

Karpagam Bangaru
(CB.EN.U4EEE18131)

Unlike in cities, there is no traffic, mostly only bikes and cycles, peaceful environment. Instead of the sound of cars honking, we might probably hear kids playing and mothers gossiping in front of their houses. One can also find cows, pigs, hens sharing the same space on the streets. These streets also have small tea shops and small shops for groceries. We can find vegetable vendors walking around with a cart. By the streets are farmlands giving fresh and lively fragrance which cannot be found in the streets of a city. The streets of a village show the simplicity of life and how to live staying connected with nature.

There are many trees that are grown like coconut, palm etc for various uses. All these just add to the greenery of the village.

Bhuvaneswari R
CB.EN.U4CHE18008

The varieties that can be seen in a village are plethora. But when it comes to technology and development, villages are still many step backwards when compared to cities. Even today, many villages are spotted without basic necessities like proper sanitation, deprived of clean drinking water, proper communication facilities(phone connection, internet connection), they lack proper transportation facilities and much more. But at the same time, modernization of the village leads to urbanization as a result of which village environment disappears.
