Was the dictator of Iraq who was involved with the 9/11 attack on the US. President Bush told him to step down from office and to leave Iraq alone. After Saddam refused, the US launched an attack on Iraq. Hussein was put on trial for crimes against humanity (he killed thousands of his own people) and was executed on December 30, 2006.

This monument also represent the shield of a fallen soldier from the Iran war. Beneath the giant shield, there is a cube made up of layers metal said to represent the seven levels of Heaven in the Islamic faith. Inside there is red acrylic used to represent the blood of the Iraqi soldiers.
