The themes of these three stories all share the idea of being an outsider. Although, it begs the question: is being an outsider a weakness or is it a strength? Being an outsider can be emotionally challenging, but it can make you a stronger person overtime.

To summarize, these three stories all play a part in the theme "Outsiders and Outcasts", because of the way they express how people are treated for being different. Being different may make you an outsider or an outcast, but that can also make you a stronger person.
