My mom is always excited and already prepares everything in November. She buys things to decorate the table in a special way, and she buys an adventswreath. 4 weeks before Christmas she lights one candle. And when it’s Christmas all the candles burn. Every year we decorate our Christmas tree, which is not a real one but it looks colorful and real. Under the tree there is a nativity scene with Holy Mary, Jozef and baby Jezus in the manger. For dinner we always eat the same: appetizers, main dish and dessert. We enjoy sitting around the table and talk to each other. We give each other presents, but only at 00:00. And of course we drink some champagne. After that we have ice cream cake with coffee. On Christmas Day we traditionally go to visit my grandparents with whom we always have dinner. For starters we always pick a ticket for those who need to buy a present. And give then on Christmas Eve after dinner. On Christmas Eve I am always with my mom and then we usuallyfirst eat small snacks, she always prepares Thai for dinner. Fordessert we eat always tiramisu and rice pudding

then we look with the whole family a cozy Christmas movie or making music. And Christmas day I always go to my grandma and I always eat first and then a ragout soup and for dessert we eat always a ice-cream cake that is made of ice and then She give us the presents. In preparation for Christmas and new year we always put after 6 december (saint nicholas) our Christmas trees one for my own room and then one for downstairs then decorate the tables with Christmas pieces that we make and the advent calendar that should not are missing. Also with Christmas we give our customers a small present at the end of year for as a thank you.

Small childrens usually watch kids movies : The snowman. Before the christmas dinner we go to christmas sauna. We eat lots of ham rutabaga and carrot caserolls. After the dinner santa comes by and gives the presents. Its also usual that people go to christmas church and graveyard to honor the close ones.
