The proper interaction is mainly based on a combination of curiosity and empathy towards the other culture.
The second goal, Who, describes how one should recognize role expectations and other social variables. This can also be seen as the acknowledgement of social morals and values of a culture other than your own.
The third goal, What, is all about the awareness of different interpretations by members of different cultures. The same phenomenon can be seen differently depending on background.
The fourth goal, Where and When, elaborates the importance of contextual factors such as geographical location and time period.
The fifth goal, why, is about a better understanding of why people from a given culture show certain behaviours.  Behaviours can be explained from both a individual satisfactory perspective as a mutual satisfactory perspective.
The sixth and last goal, exploration, is about the capability of proper evaluation. When taking the previous goals into account, one should be able to draw proper conclusions/generalizations and/or evaluations from a wide variation of factors.
