The Green Action Trust are at the second stage of consultation with the public and other stakeholders. The results of which will inform a new Urban Woodland Management Plan (which continues the vision of the previously approved but expired Long Term Forest Plan). This will unlock funding towards access and biodiversity improvements for Kinneil Woods.

The first round of consultation informed us that the stakeholders would prefer the felling to be carried out in two (or more) interventions. Our plans reflect this. Respondents asked us to restock with native species. Our plans reflect this too. Furthermore, a suite of access improvements were chosen following the outcome of this survey and consultation with Falkirk Council.
