Discussion: On 23 October 2023, my group met via Google meet to discuss roleplay. Our group consists of me, Kristy as the leader, Annie Vera binti Piangkuh, Imelda Likan anak Buan, Cassandrea Tan Soon Geok, and lastly Mohamad Ihkmal bin Mohd Patti. Here I, as the director or leader, have divided my group members into roles that have been given in the roleplay rubric which are what role they will play at the role play task. Beside, we also discuss which topic that we would choose for our roleplay based on the topic (Diplomatic approaches to conflict resolution and alliance building).

Discussion: On 6 November 2023, we also discussed our roleplay via Google meet. Here the discussion we discuss is about the topic that we will choose. We discussed which President that we were going to choose and what issues that the president had in their country. First we want to choose an issue that happens in our country but then after discussion with another group which is the government group we have decided to choose president Obama and his issue regarding the New START treaty.

Discussion: On 20 November 2023, my group met again via Google meet to discuss the task progress that they have made. Here we had discussed lots of things regarding our roleplay. We also have shared lots of material that will help us in this roleplay. Beside me as the narrator of the roleplay also asked them to give detailed background about the character that my group has chosen. In this meeting, I asked my group members to tell in detail about their character in the roleplay.

Discussion: On 18 December 2023, my group(expert) discussed with the government group at Petary. Here we discuss in depth regarding our roleplay such as to know which character that they will do in the roleplay task. We also discuss which character will talk first so that the flow of the roleplay will go smoothly. Then, we discuss which country we should choose because in this roleplay we should choose one country only either the U.S or Russia. At the end we have agreed with each other to choose U.S country for our roleplay task. After that we start again to choose the character that we will play for the roleplay. After we finish choosing our character we end our discussion at Petary and discuss again in our WhatsApp group for more information regarding the roleplay task.

Discussion: On 12 January 2024, my group had a consultation with Dr. Lucy at her office regarding our roleplay task. We met her because we are still confused with the role of director so we asked about the role of the director for this roleplay task and also with our topic. After the consultation we get to know more about each of the roles in the task.

Discussion: On 14 January 2024, we met at Petary to practice our roleplay. Here, we also practice with the government group. Before we practice our roleplay we also discuss more regarding our roleplay such as the character they have chosen for the roleplay. We also discuss the content in our roleplay. After the discussion we decided to practice our role by each character. Then, we also rearranged which character that should talk first and who next will talk after each of the characters. Besides, we also decided to remember the script and practice more until it goes smoothly.

On 15 January 2024, our group did the roleplay task. Here we have been given 20 minutes to do our roleplay which means each group has 10 minutes. In our roleplay we have to do our best to talk about our content but due to time circumstances we just cannot finish our role.
