         <description><![CDATA[<p>It does seem like a difficult task to accomplish,</p><p>but there are some neat ways you could use technology.</p><p>If your school has Ipads or or tablets, check out two and put your</p><p>students into groups. Make a scavenger hunt for your topic, like say the </p><p>presidents of the United States. Put your class into two groups and</p><p>let them scavenge the web searching for cool facts to present about each </p><p>president to help them remember who they are.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I believe that there are many ways you could incorporate technology into a social studies lesson. </p><p>One way to do this is through a smartboard. With a smartboard, teachers can display pictures</p><p>that go along with the lesson, so that students receive a visual that a textbook could not offer. </p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">They are fun for the student, but at the </span><span style="font-size: 13px;">same time it is easy for the teacher to see the students' progress.  </span></p>]]></description>
