Editing, versus finishing sentences, versus sourcing are different ethical topics. Prompting and then giving full text does not seem like an ethical practice because the writing is not your own. Giving edits and the human choosing the changes that are made is more ethical.

Giving an abstract to a paper can be helpful and is more of a summarization of what the researcher already wrote.

Could tell slightly, no publishing title, missing small details like the name of the journal, formatted strange.

Many subsections and not a lot of meat under it is an indication of a fake AI research paper.

Only three references is a dead give away and those references don't exist. Journals exists but the articles in the journals don't and you can't find them.

No in text citations.

With human intervention it could look real.
