This statement means to never give up. When you want to achieve something, you just have to keep trying until you get it, don't stop. You can fail many times, but this will help you learn, and you need to keep fighting, don't let failure bring you down. This is also what I think grit is. It is one of Neev's core values, that tells you to always try your best, keep trying, failing and fighting to get what you want. Always have hope.

When you get help as a kind action, the person actually means to help you and wants to for a very normal/kind reason. When you are helped with charity, you are only being helped because people feel sorry for you. An example is how Sven helped Yusra and Sara, because he wanted to for them to have a nice life. When they were offered help from the IOC, it was only because some people were asked to help them since they felt sorry for Yusra. Yursa wants to be helped because she is actually good, not just because people feel bad for her.
