  • Attend an induction.
    To access the screenprinting, etching and relief printing areas of the studio, you must complete an induction first. For more information about inductions see the tab 'teaching sessions'.

  • Check our opening times.
    We may be closed for technical teaching sessions or maintenance. Speak to a technician, check Moodle or our noticeboard for day-to-day open times.

  • Speak to a technician
    Before using any tools or materials, please speak to a technician so we can best help you to maximise your time in the resource. You will need to show us drawings or samples so we can know what you want to print before you start.

  • Book specialist kit or technical support
    After having an induction, if you want specialist kit or support, you can book into the screenprint, etching or relief areas by signing up in the print workshop diary or emailing the print technicians.

  • Book for digital printing
    Appointments for digital printing must be made 24hours in advance. Email or speak with the print technicians to make sure your files are ready, the printer is available, and the paper you want is in stock.

  • Work safely and clean up after working
    You are responsible for making sure you keep yourself and those around you in the resource safe. We do not tolerate unsafe working practices. You need to clean up and put tools back in place after working, not doing so will limit your access to the print in future.
