Mr.Chisolm's class went so well!!

I introduced myself and Mr.Chisolm challenged the grade 9's and said who is the most confident to turn on their cameras and the majority of the class turned them on! 

We played the Kahoot and it was fun, it took most of the 15 minutes. I also introduced that I was interested in engineering and students asked me questions:)

Most students participated and seemed excited to add their inputs. None of them used their mics or turned on their cameras but they were definitely talking a lot in the chat. 

I will do the Kahoot next week because they will likely remember to join early.

From last week and this week, I've realized that despite it being posted, only half the class shows up. However, the students that do show up make up for it. I didn't know how to do the Kahoot for both sessions (whoops) so I did two truths and a lie first and Skribbl.io the second. Both times, the feedback was awesome! They did enjoy it. 

I hope for future classes there's more participants, but nonetheless it's quite fun!

Honestly went a lot better than I thought it would, although I was the only one with my camera everyone was very responsive! I was in a bit of a rush to get to my class but I had a slideshow for visuals and basically just introduced myself, why I was there, asked how their day was and what other classes they had (again everyone was really good at responding, everyone typed in the chat and some unmuted!). I concluded with just informing them of the different clubs and activities that are currently running
