The open system is one of the perspectives of organizational effectiveness which implies this system is regularly exchanged feedback with its external environment. This system is structured to accommodate contingencies problem and opportunities that come from the external environment since the organizations are strongly influenced by their environment. Such as cultural value, economic conditions, political environment, quality of education and so on. As an open system, all large organizations are comprised of multiple subsystems, each of which receives inputs from other subsystems and turn them into outputs for use by other subsystems. Inputs are included raw material, human resources, information, finances, and equipment that will become the subsystems for the transformation process. Human resources are the most important asset of an organization. The success or failure of an organization is largely dependent on the caliber of the people working therein. Without positive and creative contributions from people, organizations cannot progress and prosper. In order to achieve the goals or the activities of an organization, therefore, they need to recruit people with requisite skills, qualifications, and experience.

Organizational learning perspectives is a perspective which holds that organizational effectiveness depends on the organizational capacity to acquire, share, use, and store valuable knowledge. Organizations nurture their intellectual capital through four organizational learning processes including knowledge acquisition, sharing, use, and storage.

Knowledge acquisition is extracting information and idea from the external environment as well as through insight. People are an important asset in an organization since the knowledge acquisition process can be done by hiring an individual or buying entire companies. This is because the employee plays roles in helping to scan the external environment and interpreting message from external sources. For example, staff may collect feedback and survey from the customer in order to improve customer service experience and develop better products.

Knowledge sharing is distributing knowledge to others within the organization. It can be occurred by observing, experience, training, and practice. For example, employee especially attends to the annual dinner, they will share and gain experience and knowledge with each other.

Knowledge use is the competitive advantage of knowledge comes from applying it in ways that add value to the organization and its stakeholders. The employee must realize that the knowledge is available and that they have enough autonomy to apply it. This requires a culture that encourages experimentation and open communication.

Knowledge storage is the process of holding knowledge for later retrieval. In other words, it involves preserving the organization’s intellectual capital. This store of knowledge can be called as organizational memory. Knowledge store can be embedded in the organization by using documents, objects, and some way that is useful about how an organization should operate. For example, newcomers apprentice learns from a skilled employee by transferring knowledge.

Conscientiousness measures a person’s reliability and dependability. Accounting related jobs need good organisational skills as they have to manage large amount of data, figures, and paper works. The accountants should be able to organise their work to maximize productivity and complete tasks in effective manner. Moreover, time management skill is also important for accountants and auditors to organise their appointments, client meetings, phone calls, and tasks. Agreeableness shows how well a person can get along with other people. Accountants should have the ability to be trusted because they deal with highly confidential information.

The first perspective of organizational effectiveness is the Organizational Learning Perspective. An organization’s effectiveness depends on it's capacity to acquire, share, use, and store valuable knowledge. This perspective views employees as reasonably important because they hold a large portion of intellectual capital (human capital, structural capital and relationship capital). People bring knowledge into the organization and are largely responsible for sharing that knowledge. Knowledge use is also ultimately a human endeavor.

Secondly, there is the High-Performance Work Practices Perspective. This perspective holds that effective organizations incorporate several workplace practices that leverage the potential of human capital. This is arguably the perspective that views people (employees) as the most critical resource. HPWPs embrace the human capital model. They consider employees as competitive advantage. HPWP are practices to leverage or unleash the competitive advantage potential of employees.

Stereotyping helps us to fill in missing information, such as the non-observable characteristics of a person that only become apparent after a long time. For example, when we talk about Asian people, we may stereotype them have better math ability.
-We can make a fast decision and quick judgment in a new situation. For example, we may judge someone who lives in the countryside is uneducated.
-We are able to react to the person as what they want. For example, when you are going to interview, you will generalize out must wear formal.
Disadvantages of stereotype:
-The downside of using a stereotype to make a judgment about someone is that it might be completely misguided and incorrect, causing you to act differently towards the person which can offend them.
-We make a bias judgment about others that may be incorrect therefore harmful. For example, a blonde woman may be offended if you assume she is dumb because she is blonde.
-Stereotype can create many problems in a social situation like the workplace, at school, or in the local community. For example, in the workplace, if a female boss were to manage a group of men. The female might feel that she has to prove that she is capable to do the job because of the negative stereotyping that suggests that women are less capable, and the men might in turn assume that she is bossy and incompetent, this then creating negativity for her in the company.
