Maroo asked Old Mother if she had made the right decision, getting a positive answer, but still feeling guilty. Soon, the Blue Lake Hunter's dog started barking at something in the distance. Him and another man got up to see what it was, revealing the return of  Rivo. Maroo starts interrogating the dog on where Otak was, then she saw him. The circle had broken and had let Otak into the firelight. Otak then muttered that he was cold, then promptly collapsed. The camp later learned how Otak had sprained his ankle while running away.
