The Regional Teacher Training Center in Malaga provides a wide variety of online training courses for teachers in Primary and Secondary Education. Due to the high dropout rate, the Teacher Training Center was looking for new proposals to make their offer more engaging and meaningful. They provided me with several topics that were urgent to address.

I designed learner personas to personalize the learning experience design by collecting data through an online survey (with multiple-choice questions) and online focus groups, where teachers could ask questions, clarify situations with examples, etc.

The Business Problem & The Learning Gap

Considering the business problem, there worrying increase in cases of bullying and cyberbullying, and what final users know about the topic, I defined the learning gap: teachers don't know how to give an appropriate response to such situations because they lack the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

...will be able to discriminate between bullying situations and other conflicts happening at the center, by considering risk factors and providing a rationale for the decision.

...will be able to recognize risk factors that emerge in the school-peer relations, by considering the students’ social, emotional, cognitive, and psychomotor development, to prevent bullying situations at an early stage.
