If you want to do well in grade 9 but everyone's spreading rumours that grade 9 is tough and all, don't believe them. Build your own mindset. Don't go after success; go after excellence. If you chase success, you might not achieve it while adding extra pressure on you. However, if you go for excellence in the subject you desire, everything (like success, fame, money, awards) will eventually follow because you have built the skill set and mindset necessary so effectively that no one can contest you (however, for this to work, don't keep success or anything in mind; it adds pressure. Just be aware of your learning and how effectively are you doing that). Be sure whenever you have doubts, ask questions and DON'T berate yourself. Everyone starts from scratch and would have questions from time to time. Accepting it and clearing doubts is part of a growth mindset, which is essential if you wish to be life-long learners or just a high-school student.
