✎ Joey E:
Hello, I am the Archbishop of Paris The Reformation has impacted my life socially, politically, and economically in the following ways...

♕ Social: Martin Luther is making it worse for the Archbishop of Paris (ME) because I used to be at one the highest ranks of the social scale and now I am slowly going down from the church. I am also losing some of my parishioners (Followers).

♕ Political: The cathedral helps increase my money and power. I need this to build a stronger and better cathedral . I used to be a powerful person and now I am starting to become second guessed by my followers and going down the social scale in the church, instead of being one of the highest ranks.

♕ Economic: The money helps me build a better cathedral. (Each bishop had their own) I am very angry with Martin Luther because everything good that has come into my role of the Church had been taken away from me and the rest of the church.

♕ CLAIM: I declare that Martin Luther is guilty because…
Living as a bishop I have been able to have a great role in the Church. The money I have been getting has been helping me improve and make a better cathedral, with Martin Luther here and making reforms to the Church, he has been making me not gain the money and lose my parishioners (Followers). It has been upsetting seeing the church slowly start to fall apart because of Luther's false interpretations of the Roman Catholic Church. Everything has been taken away from our church and we need to bring it back, you can’t let years of work be taken away from one person.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Reformation has impacted my life socially, politically, and economically in the following ways...
Social: Along with forming the Jesuits, I also educated them. The Jesuits called their education the “tradition of human excellence”. I made my fellow followers aware of their imagination, emotions, and conscience. We believed that each person was a unique creation of god. We wanted to find god in all things and reflect upon life.
Political: As the Roman Catholic church's authority and power were challenged and they were losing power by Martin Luther's proclamation, I came in and turned it around for them and founded the Jesuits.The Jesuits were a group of militant missionaries, we had to reconvert the converted. The society of Jesus worked for the Roman Chatholic Church and our goal was to modernize the Church and to gain its authority and religious hierarchy back.
Economic: My followers and I incorporated economic acts for the church. We firmly wanted to sustain order within the church and spread its beliefs, so we organized numerous agricultural estates. In these estates many indigenous people or African slaves performed labor like cattle ranches and cotton plantations to preserve the Jesuits salvation and perfection.
Claim: I declare that Martin Luther is GUILTY of social, political, and economical disruption within Europe because… by creating his own beliefs and spreading them it created a rippling decline splintering The Roman Catholic Church. Luther's selfish indulgences striped the authority, power, and hierarchy of the church. I took a stand to find the very thing that brought the church back from its decline, the Jesuit’s. Our goal was to modernize the Church and to gain its authority and religious hierarchy back from the grasp of Luther.
The Reformation has impacted my life socially, politically, and economically in the following ways...
Social: Paintings and sculptures were destroyed causing riots, artwork was ways artists expressed themselves and religious beliefs.
Political: This caused a divide in artists and people, they divided themselves into thinking how artwork shouldn't/ should be in church. The emperor explained that Luther would have to retract his statements about the church or the whole empire would go against him. But after Luther died he told people not to continue fighting over what he did and to let his body rest.
Political: The emperor had the power to try and scare and force Luther to take back what he said about the church, but he technically did not have as much power as the Pope or church actually did. But Emperor Charles also had the power to enact the edict of worms which banned people to spread Luther's ideas.
Economic: As a result of the Emperor enacting this charge the empire was most likely to come back up people and economy wise because now since people were not allowed to spread Luther's ideas most of them probably went back under the rule of the emperor and the Pope, which gave them back the money they lost.
CLAIM: I declare that Martin Luther is guilty of Heresy because he caused a disturbance in the empire and went against the Roman catholic church by nailing his 95 theses to our church door. Because of my travelling I married a widow in Geneva and when she died I never remarried.
Political: I set up a Theocracy (government led by church leaders). He wanted to stick to what the Bible was saying and never had intentions in the first place to make a new religion until that was his only choice when he was banished from the church. By nailing the 95 theses to the door of the Wittenburg Church, he was trying to inform the church of some of the wrongs they were doing. Luther realized that if the church was telling people the only way they would have a good afterlife was if they paid for the indulgences, they were just asking for people's money. Luther realized that there is no way that what people do in their life has any connection with what they do in their afterlife and for eternity after they pass. The money was just going towards buying things for the church and didn’t actually do anything for the person specifically who gave the church money. The money was going towards art and cathedrals for all of the Bishops but nothing for the people. Luther saw that this was wrong and felt that the church was lying to people just to get their money.
Hello, I am King Henry the 8th. The Reformation has impacted my life socially, politically, and economically in the following ways...
Social: He was the king that brought England into the idea of a Protestant Reformation. He got the idea because he wasn’t allowed to devorce his wife, Catherine of Aragon because she couldn’t produce a male heir to the throne.
Political: At first, King Henry the 8th hated the idea of rebelling against the Roman Catholic Church at first. The main reason for that was because when he was younger, he was heavily influenced into the Roman Catholic Church. For example, when the Holy Roman Empire turned on the Pope and attacked Rome, King Henry tried to send troops to help defend the Pope. But as time went on and his first wife didn’t give Henry and male heir, he wanted to get a divorce. When the Pope didn’t agree with that, King Henry made his own religion that would allow him to divorce his current wife.
Economic: I didn't really find anything about economic for king henry
I declare that Martin Luther is not guilty of the revolution because of his situations with his wife’s and the disagreement of the Pope. If King Henry did get his male heir from his first wife, Henry would declare Martin Luther, guilty, only because in his younger years he studied the church everyday.
The Reformation has impacted my life socially, politically, and economically in the following ways...
Social: I removed Luther's “vandalism” from our public churches and because we have failed with our counter reformation these reformations had us lose all of our religious power that I had for years
Political: I used to command army’s , made political alliances and enemies I've even made waged war, But since this menace had spoken up My power has been ripped away from me even though God had spoken to me many times , I have the ability to heard god and they don't I'm not a normal person I'm the Pope for crying out loud
Economic: Not only have I been slowly losing power I've also been losing money since people have stopped coming to our churches and paying for their sins to be taken away from them. Our establishments are going to fall at this point if people don't stop believing in this crazy man. People are also starting to doubt the church because of that man, he making people fall into sin at this rate
CLAIM: I declare that Martin Luther is guilty of heresy because Of going against the church, disturbing the peace with this reformate nosince, vandalism
