In 1430, Pachacútec launched an expansion campaign to Vilcabamba to capture the Picchu Gorge. Machu Picchu's sacred terrain relative to the center of Cusco must have impressed the Inca monarch. For this reason, around 1450, he ordered a town to be built there with rows of houses and magnificent religious buildings.

Last summer, my family and I visited Machu Picchu on our holiday in Peru. I thought it would be boring because I wanted to go to Rome that summer. But when we got there, I was surprised by what I saw!

Machu Picchu is divided into 3 main areas: the Sacred Area, the People's Area, and the Priests' and Nobility's Quarters. All buildings at Machu Picchu follow the Inca architectural style with unplastered stone walls and equal-sized stones. More than a hundred stone steps lead up – often carved entirely into a single granite boulder – and many fountains, connected by channels and opaque water pipes in the rock, were designed for the original irrigation system.

My visit to Machu Picchu made me feel different emotions. I was interested in how the people lived so long ago. I think I will visit it again in the next summer.

Da Nang is the home to Vietnam's largest pagoda. It's name is Linh Ung pagoda and it got a 67-meter statue of the Goddess of Mercy.

I came to Da Nang 2 years ago and I'd got some grate time there. I really excited that the first night I didn't sleep well. The next day I went to Linh Ung pagoda and I first saw the statue of the Goddess of Mercy. It's bigger than I thought. In the evening I came back to the hotel. The second day, my dad took us to the Hoi An Ancient Town. We went though the dragon bridge and it's the longest bridge in Viet Nam, it's about 666 meters long. The ancient town is grate, they put the town into 2 types, one is new town and one is ancient town. I really like Hoi An ancient town. The next day we went to Ba Na hills with the golden bridge. It like a hand from the mountain keeping the bridge not to fall down. 3 days in Da Nang was great. I'd saw some new places and eaten some grate traditional food.

If I got time and money, I would go every where and review some more places in Viet Nam for you.

It is the place where Ho Chi Minh president independent declaration on 2 of September, 1945 and it's also the most historic place in VietNam.

2 years ago, I and my friends visited Badinh square. We went there to make a project. I was really suprised about its size. It is larger than every square that I have visited. The square looks accient and huge. The first place I visited was Lang Bac where our respectable president slept over the years. I was exciting and wanted to know more about here. then we move to the old tribune where Ho Chi Minh had read the independent declaration. I was really proud and thought that I was there on that divine day. I felt happy too.

I remembered the heros who had been fighting for a peaceful country. I had a bit sad. But I knew that I have to study harder to make our country more developing. The visting BaDinh square is the most emotive experience to me. If you have a chance, I think you should go to visit BaDinh square once

Danang is a very beautiful and bustling city in Vietnam. There are thousands of tourists visit this place each year. It is famous for the Gloden Bridge, Ba Na hills and the lively midnight markets.

Last week, my family traveled there for 4 days. This is the second time we have visited this touristy city. We had a lot of fun together.

The midnight markets were very inexpensive and had many special foods. My favourite place in Danang is Ba Na hills, especially the Golden Bridge. When I went into the cable cars in Ba Na hills to go to the top of the mountain, it was super windy and my sister was so scared. Although it was not summer-the time of vacations, the mountain was very crowded. On top of Ba Na hills, there were many restaurent with different kinds of food from cultures around the world. I went to a place called 'Four Seasons restaurent' which served amazing buffets. After the meal, my family saw a maneficent waterfall, which had 6 floors with beautiful statues and a garden with a giant chessboard and another small sand clock shaped - waterfall. Then we went to the Golden Bridge - the iconic place of Danang. It was a huge bridge with the golden colour and two hand structures under it.

Danang is one of the most amazing places to enjoy vacations in Vietnam so if you have a chance, you should visit here one time.

It impressed tourists by historical culture and charming vilages, so many visitors visited this peaceful countryside.

Last summer holiday, I went here to spend time with grandma in our hometown.

We went to many beautiful places and ate a lot of incredible local dishes. Firstly, I went to the market with grandma. I was amazed by the crowed people here, they sold fresh vegetables, food or needed supplies and it was inexpensive. The people was also friendly and kind, well because most of them worked as farmers so they included the personality which is hard-working and gentle. I was shocked at the romatic views of Dong Chau beach. Especially when the sun rised and sunset, it became liked never end, and that why people called it " Infinity sea ". I was fascinated by the view of the rice field. The rice field liked wearing a golden coat, birds flew on the sky when its sunset, what natural Thai Binh was.

How peaceful Thai Binh was ! I was proud of where I was born. Stayed in Thai Binh with grandma and spent the holiday here always the most relaxing moment with nature. I wished that I could discoverd more interesting places in my hometown. Just needed to wait for now.

Do you know that our country, Vietnam's capital city is over 1000 years old?

I live in Hanoi with my family so I sometime visit the center of Hanoi, it has so many interesting things to do and see. When I first visit Hanoi with my dad, I was three years old then and I remembers the feeling I got that moment. I was so excited when I looked around and saw all the food and activities in the Walking Street. There was so many old toys like to he or old kinds of snacks. It was so much fun. When we finished trying some of the activities there, my dad took me to a cheap food stall near the pavement. The noodles there was so good. Now that stall had already moved to another place, I wish that I can eat in that stall another time. In the afternoon, my dad let me tried variety of the treats that my dad had had as a kid. It tasted so strange but delicious at the same time. Another time, I went with my family to a very old street, I was fascinated by the ancient houses that were built long ago. The design was so beautiful, it wasn't that contemporary. All the houses looked all alike, unlike these day houses.

After my visit to Hanoi center, I know more about the culture and tradition of my country. I hope that I can go there another time.
