The fundamental issue about the climate emergency we are facing is the use of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas. By burning them, carbon dioxide as well as other greenhouse gasses are being released. Carbon dioxide traps heat from the sun, and as a result, our world is rapidly warming. 

Why are the industrialized companies are still not shifting to a more sustainable way of producing products despite knowing that they are emitting harmful pollutants?

 

How come these industrialized companies that contribute most to climate change are not held mandatorily accountable to help reverse or lessen its effects? Why is it the small and undeveloped countries who always volunteer to reverse it? Just like the Philippines.

 

 

The lack of accountability leads to the need for climate justice and it will only be possible if we are going to demand their participation in environmental restitution. 

All of us. We cannot deny that every person has contributed to the damage our planet is experiencing right now. Now is the time to take initiative to start a movement and advocacy to mitigate the damaging effect of climate change. Everyone, especially the fossil fuel companies, must acknowledge their roles and contribution to climate change. 

Continue to advocate for collective action. Because even though we contribute less than major industrialized companies, it is still our moral duty to save our environment and our responsibility as head of the food chain to take care and fight for mother Earth.
