Something that came with the lesson is the constant reminder to myself and to those I care about that we must stray away from these harmful substances that may very well ruin our lives.

I always knew the inappropriate use of narcotics was detrimental to someone's health, especially after uncovering some stories of people who succumbed to it.

In case of emergencies I can apply what I have learned in this module by conducting first-aid if the situations calls for it.

After viewing and experiencing many natural disasters and calamities, it has now occurred to me that mother nature can give and take as she pleases so the best we can do is analyze and adapt to our surroundings by preparing ourselves accordingly.

Based on the responses from our interviewees, I learned that there is a noticeable decline in volunteerism in this generation due to many social factors that mainly stem from influence of others and self-motivation.

Researching material for this topic proved to also change my perspective on society, as a well knit community will always have more advantages as more people know each other the more people can help each other out.
