I learned from other teachers how to vary Quizlet live by making the kids do it silently where they can only use hand signals. Students seem to like the extra challenge.

My Algebra II Trig students are exploring graphs of logarithmic functions on DESMOS ACTIVITY BUILDER! I love using this application and students are given the opportunity to explore this new function in groups - definitely beats taking notes! The students have so much prior knowledge about transformations of graphs and function characteristics that they really can embrace the productive struggle/ investigate new functions from unit to unit using DESMOS! :)
