He helped develop the "Virginia Plan", also co-authoring a series of essays that appeared in the Newspaper, and seen by all the states. But majorly, he helped strengthen the Constitution. He argued strongly about having a strong government. He introduced the 13 amendments that guaranteed individual rights. <br>He was so important, he was nicknamed "the father of Constitution".<br>-Sydney Crockett.   </div>]]></description>

When the government was going to make him sell his land for taxes, all other farmers who were having the same done to them got together and rebelled against the local government. Shays' rebellion showed most governments that a change was needed because the federal government could not help to control the rebellion.</div>]]></description>
