The Taliban has taken over the country after the US soldiers withdrew from the border of Afghanistan. This means from this time, Afghan people are desperately attempting to leave their country. Hundreds of thousands of people have already been internally displaced as they fled from rural areas to the cities still under government control. Residents of Kabul (the capital of Afghanistan) said the mood on the streets was of desperation and fear, and the city was plunged into darkness. Kabul airport was packed as people try in vain to leave their country.
That the Taliban are known for their hardline Islamist rules, especially in the treatment of women and girls, means any gains in education for them are likely to disappear overnight. Their other strict interpretations of Islamic law have included:
- Forbidding music and movies
- Avoiding networking on the Internet
- Forcing women to wear a full burqa
- Forcing men to keep their beard
- Banning women from employment and education (except health professionals)

A "POEM" ABOUT BULLYING

Recently, I’ve read a news that a new writing of a modern writer will take place a poem written about Uncle Ho in the Literature textbook for grade 6 student. People call it a poem but I think it doesn’t deserve to be called by that name, for it lacks of many Arts properties.

The title of the writing is “BULLYING”. I know it aims to educate students about how harmful it will be if bullying happens and to prevent students from bullying in both sides. I know bullying is a negative aspect of this society. And the core of literature in general and poetry in particular is to reflect the reality. But you know, not everything should be brought into literature as an educational method for humanization or something. It even lacks of aesthetics value to become a true poem. On social media, there have been a lot of criticism on this writing. Most of them don’t recognize it and disapprove the fact that it will take place a meaningful poem about Uncle Ho. I think it all has reasons behind. I believe this aspect should be focused more in the ethics education subject since primary school. Literature, at that time, had better do it work.

Furthermore, the attitude of the author towards netizen are so disrespectful. It’s a taboo in Arts if a writer want to have position in this field.

You can find to read it on social media

Problems of the new shopping service ("Đi chợ hộ") during social distancing

The new model of shopping service in HCM city has shown some unwanted problems for both the citizens and this model's staffs.

Due to the complicated situation of the pandemic in HCM city, people have to stay at home and can only shop for necessities on specific days. To solve this problems, the city has come up with a new model of shopping service, which allow people to order food, medicine, necessities,... and shippers will deliver those to their house. Seems convenient.

On the citizens side, sometimes things they ordered were out of stock; or the hotline/app for this service is overload and they can't order.

On the staffs side, when a product that customers ordered were sold out, they have to contact customers to ask for their opinions before buying an alternative and that takes a lot of time. Another problem is the risk of being "bombed". Some people order just to see if the model really works and refuse to pay money, some thought this model is free and didn't received their orders,... That causes great damage to staffs because the staff in charge of shopping has to pay for the orders in advance, and the price of each order is quite high, about 500.000đ - 700.000đ.

Toll in Kabul Airport Bombing Rises to 170

The reported toll of the bombing outside Kabul’s airport rose sharply on Friday, with local health officials saying that as many as 170 people were killed and at least 200 were wounded. Yet less than a day after the attack, crowds on Friday sought once again to reach the airport, their desperation to flee the Taliban blending with grief at the enormous scale of the violence.
Health officials’ estimate of the number of bombing victims, which did not include the 13 U.S. service members killed and 15 wounded, was supported by interviews with hospital officials. The officials, who requested anonymity because the Taliban had told them not to speak with the media, said some of the dead civilians were Afghan Americans, with U.S. citizenship.
At the airport and in the streets, the U.S. military and the Taliban tried to exert what authority they could. Militants with Kalashnikov rifles kept crowds farther away from the airport’s entrance gates, guarding checkpoints with trucks and at least one Humvee parked in the roads. The American military resumed evacuation flights, and the White House said early Friday that 12,500 people had been evacuated from Afghanistan in the previous 24 hours, despite the attacks.
With four days remaining until an Aug. 31 deadline for the United States withdrawal, a date that President Biden has said he intends to keep despite domestic and international pressure to extend the evacuation operations, Afghans are scrambling to find a way out of the country.

The task is becoming increasingly difficult.
The violence at the airport has officials in Pakistan fearing that more people will try to cross into their country, despite an insistence that it will not accept more refugees.

Each day in typical times, about 4,000 to 8,000 people cross the border near Spin Boldak-Chaman, the only designated — and open — border crossing for refugees. Since the Taliban seized Kabul, the number of Afghans entering Pakistan has jumped threefold, according to Pakistani officials and tribal leaders.

TikTok bans the 'milk crate challenge' because of injuries

This summer's viral craze of stacking milk crates in a pyramid and trying to climb them like stairs has been banned the app that helped give life to it.

TikTok has deleted search results for the hashtag "milk crate challenge" and explained in a statement that the challenge was publicizing a dangerous activity.

"TikTok prohibits content that promotes or glorifies dangerous acts, and we remove videos and redirect searches to our Community Guidelines to discourage such content," a spokesperson said. "We encourage everyone to exercise caution in their behavior whether online or off."

The challenge, like so many viral internet dares, began as a simple premise with often funny results: Someone gathers a bunch of milk crates and stacks them in a pyramid formation, then attempts to step up one side and down the other without the crates faltering underneath them (but the crates always topple, and the person walking them goes down with them).

A search for the hashtag Friday morning brings up a "No results found" screen on TikTok. "This phrase may be associated with behavior or content that violates our guidelines," the results said.

People attempting the challenge are getting hurt according to a local news report. That prompted a Virginia orthopedic surgeon to warn against the stunt at a time when emergency rooms and medical personnel are overwhelmed with Covid-19 patients.

TSMC is raising less advanced chip prices by 20% and the advanced ones by 10%. The reason for the higher price is the semiconductor shortage, and it results in the contemporary closeout of 3 factories of General Motors Co., the decrease of 40% in the production of Toyota. Its biggest consumer, Apple warned about the decreasing production in September.

The is a twofold purpose behind this action. In the short-term period, the company can lower the demand and preserve the supply for those who are in need. In the long-term, the higher price will result in additional revenue. However, it can filter out some of the company's customers.

The company hold predominance of the company in the semiconductor market, which means that they make more than 90% the world's most advanced chips.
