Seven landfills are in fact the legacy that Montichiari brings as a gift thanks to the choices made in the recent past. The most demaged hamlet is Vighizzolo where, because of the landfills, the schools on Monday morning were closed because the air of the district was not breathable. 

The teachers, but above all the parents, intervened and the protest mounted so much that the parents' representatives let know that the children won't go back to school until the matter is resolved. 

The families of Vighizzolo have declared that they haven't had answers to their questions about the origin of so many sudden illnesses yet.

Furthermore, in Montichiari, one parent calculated that the polluted air corresponds to smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for his 9-year-old son. 

Pollutans are highly toxic, mutagenic and carcinogenic. They enter the blood and fix themselves to the fat of the glands; they infiltrate the groundwater and are ingested by everyone, even drinking mineral water, because the contaminated one is introduced in the form of fruit, vegetables, water for pasta, tea, coffee...
