We made the name tents on blue pieces of card-stock paper, and then we folded the paper in half to make it resemble a tent. The name tent included information like our name, section number, and a picture of ourselves. So, my name tent said "Emma Booker Section 1," and it featured a solo picture of me. Canva is a super cool free graphic design tool that you can really use to create anything you want to create. I used Canva to create my travel brochure for Madrid, Spain. I really enjoyed getting to design this travel brochure because I got to make it look how I wanted it to look. I loved playing around with the different fonts, colors, and stylistic elements on Canva. Despite this, I do see the value in using Keynote for school work. I choose to do my power point presentation on a website called Bouncy Balls. Bouncy Balls is a simple, free noise meter that can be used in the classroom. As sounds increase, plastic balls, emojis, bubbles, or eyeballs shoot up from the bottom of the screen and move erratically until levels decrease. Overall, Bouncy Balls is an effective tool to encourage students to stay on task.

I liked this assignment because it helped me figure out everything I needed to do to prepare for law school. If I were ever to make a podcast, I would probably use Garageband. Garageband was a simple app to use to edit audio. I love that we had a new project each week because it prevented the class from becoming redundant and boring. This has been my favorite class this semester because we would get to do a new exciting, fun project each class period. I love that virtually all of these materials and programs we learned about can be used in our everyday lives. Overall, this class was my favorite part of Tuesdays and Thursdays because the atmosphere was always so happy and joyful. This summer I am going to live in Washington D.C. to intern for Majority Leader Steve Scalise. I cannot wait to be in your other ELRC class next semester!

I had never used a greenscreen before that project. I was scared that getting the image I wanted onto the greenscreen would be tricky, but iMovie made the process extremely easy. I think iMovie is a great video editing application because it is incredibly user-friendly. I know that many YouTubers and Influencers use greenscreens to make content, and I can understand why greenscreens are helpful for them.
