         <description><![CDATA[<p>To know if someone is suffering from depression you can observe their body language, how they interact with others (that's if they're even social), how they react to certain situations, and more. If that's not enough you can diagnose someone with depression with these examples and if they last more than a two week period or more. </p><p>1. Physical agitation or legarthy.</p><p>2. Feeling worthless or excessive or inappropriate guilt.</p><p>3.Recurrent thoughts of death or suicide. </p><p>4.Depressed mood most of the day.</p><p>5. Insomnia or sleeping too much.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Current Treatment for Depression</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>They're various ways that you can treat depression but it depends on multiple factors such as how minor or severe your depression is, how long your disorder has lasted, and lastly was it treated before, how, and what was used. Most people used antidepressants (Prozac, Tricyclics, and MAOIS) which work on the brain's neurotransmitters such as the serotonin and norepinephrine. Brain stimulation's also work such as psychotherapy,  electron-convulsive therapy, and other brain therapies will  treat depression.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Some of the criteria needed to be diagnosed with panic disorder are:</p><ul><li><p>Edginess or restlessness.</p></li><li><p>Tiring easily; more fatigued than usual.</p></li><li><p>Impaired concentration or feeling as though the mind goes blank.</p></li><li><p>Irritability (which may or may not be observable to others).</p></li><li><p>Increased muscle aches or soreness.</p></li><li><p>Difficulty sleeping (due to trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, restlessness at night, or unsatisfying sleep).</p></li></ul>]]></description>

The medical causes of this disorder include heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, withdrawal from drug abuse and alcohol, and premenstrual syndrome. Other causes of panic disorder can result from heredity, stressful life events, and thinking in a way that exaggerates relatively normal bodily reactions.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>- First identified as a metal illness by Dr. Emile Kraepelin, in 1887. </p><p>- Schizophrenia was known as 'dementia praecox', meaning early dementia, since the patients who Dr. Kraepelin studied were young adults. </p><p>- Dr. Kraepelin believed that the dementia praecox was a disease of the brain and was a form of dementia.</p><p>- Later, a Swiss psychiatrist named Eugene Bleuler, gave schizophrenia it's modern name, in 1911. </p><p>- He was also able to describe the symptoms as positive and negative. </p><p>- Both Kraepelin and Bleuler divided scizophrenia into four different categories.</p><p>- Schizophrenia was also thought to only affect young people. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>To treat someone with panic disorder, there are multiple ways to do so.</p><p>1) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: This is seen as the most effective treatment. This therapy focuses on the thinking patterns and behaviors that are triggering the panic attack.</p><p>2) Exposure Therapy: This type of treatment exposes a person to the physical sensations of panic in a controlled environment., allowing the person to learn healthier ways of coping with it </p><p>3) Medication can also be taken to repress symptoms shown with panic disorder. These medications include: antidepressants and benzodiazepines.</p><p>4) A person can also help themselves overcome their panic disorder if: they learn about panic, avoid smoking and drinking caffeine, learn how to control their breathing, and practice relaxation techniques.</p>]]></description>
