So, based on our observations and learning, we may infer that three aspects can be summarised:

1. Gender Equality
Gender equality is the state of equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, including economic participation and decision-making; and the state of valuing different behaviors, aspirations, and needs equally, regardless of gender. For instance, despite all the men who have served as rectors in the past, the fifth rector, Y.BHG Dato' Sri Prof. Dr. Zaleha Kamaruddin is one of the women that has become a rector in IIUM. This shows that there is gender equality in iium as it shows that everyone has the same opportunity regardless of gender.

2. Quality Education
Eliminate all discrimination in education. Ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for the vulnerable, including persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, and children in vulnerable situations. For instance, IIUM Disability Service Unit was established in July 2012 to cater specifically to the needs of students, staff, and visitors with disabilities at the IIUM. It seeks to provide equal opportunity for comprehensive excellence and access to teaching and learning by enhancing facilities and services for persons with disabilities, which shows that IIUM eliminates all discrimination in education.

3. Maintaining relations with Alumni all around the world.
More than 80,000 IIUM alumni worldwide work as agents of change both nationally and internationally by spreading the IIUM mission and serving their respective countries and communities in the public and private sectors. In many situations, these on-campus methods may be transferred to the core of society and employed there.
In addition, The second central reason that universities are a suitable option for taking the lead in sustainable development is that each university is a collection of various centres and organisations, each of which can contribute a significant amount of knowledge and practises to the sectors of society with which they are in contact. The rationale will bring us to another crucial component in the relationship between the academic sector and the general public, which is the notion of cooperation. However, in order for this train to move, there must be a well-defined method of networking and collaboration plans.
