To me, it means Equality because if you look at all the squares, they all equal out. They fit perfectly with each other. Each tesselation has its different feel it them, some are more calm, while others are scarier.
2) Well first you need to take pictures of anything that catches your eye, but make sure it is in really good focus. Try to look at small colors that have a different color in the background. You open photoshop and have an 8" blank square with lines depending on if you want to make a 4" tesselation, 2", or a 1" tessellation. You resize the picture you are using to the size you want, and after you apply it to its spot. You duplicate the image and flip it Horizontal, Vertical, and Horizontal/Vertical.Make sure all the measurements are aligned so you don't have to go through more steps to try and fix the white lines that may pop up if the imagines or template are not right.
3) What I liked was that I was able to make cool Tesselations out of basically anything, I really enjoyed this project. My favorite Tesselation was the one where it has a Red Fuzzy Ball and a nice green in the background making a unique tesselation.
4) I didn't really struggle with much because it was straightforward. If there was something I could ask to be changed is to find an easier way to duplicate the layers so I wouldn't have to go one by one.
