For developing countries, this means creating systems of enforcement to ensure that child labor does not occur, and getting the governments of these countries to agree to uphold that promise.

Families rely on child labor in order to obtain basic necessities; as such, we cannot combat child labor without implementing solutions that aim to rectify the underlying issue of poverty.  A multitude of solutions must be broadly implemented across multiple nations in order to eradicate child labor. In order to do so, we must provide legitimate economic opportunities for adult workers to compensate for loss of income, create opportunities for education so that students can attend schools that will train them for jobs beyond the sectors that employ child labor, and implement initiatives that target not just child labor but also poverty as a whole.
